The batteries do what they're supposed to, are considerably cheaper than the original Canon ones, and you even get a dual charger included. It's certainly useful as a travel charger, although I assume the charging speed is a bit slower than with the Canon charger. Since I always travel with a multi-power adapter for my phone and tablet, along with all sorts of charging cables, this charger is very welcome.

Very importantly for me, by the way: my camera recognizes the batteries without any issues, and they also deliver the required power.

I was looking for compatible batteries for an R5 Mark II with a BG-R20 battery grip. The original Canon LP-E6P batteries are great, high-quality, and 100% compatible, but they are very expensive (one LP-E6P costs around €100).

Unfortunately, certain functions that worked with the original Canon battery for the previous model (e.g., PreBurst on the R7) are no longer available – one might suspect foul play. You can get annoyed by Canon's cross-selling mentality and buy colored pencils to create your own beautiful pictures, or you can look for battery alternatives – which is what I did.

Summary for the impatient:

I tested a total of four LP-E6P battery alternatives here on Amazon, each sold as a twin pack with a charger/function. These were:

- Adicop LP-E6P Li-ion battery 2600mAh

- Anegine LP-E6P battery 2750mAh and LCD dual charger

- DuraPro 2x 2850mAh LP-E6P battery + LCD dual USB storage charger with Type-C port

- K&F Concept LP-E6P 2400mAh camera battery (2-pack), LCD dual slot power charger kit

None of the four battery variants triggered the error message in the R5 Mark II (with or without the BG-R20) indicating that certain functions are not supported. All had comparable charging and discharging times when using the same charger. All still had a significant charge reserve, even when the camera displayed both batteries at 1% (when used with the BG-R20). I was able to record between 20 and 45 minutes of video with each battery. This inaccuracy in the charge level indicator can be considered an advantage or a disadvantage—it's something you need to be aware of.

None of the four battery variants displayed the error message. Adicop and Anegine batteries had compatibility issues with the BG-R20, as they all use the same serial number for their batteries. I didn't experience any incompatibility with the BG-R20 between DuraPro and K&F Concept batteries.

The DuraPro charger was the fastest for charging two batteries simultaneously, as it can charge at 9V + 2*1A. Anegine came in second, with the other two lagging far behind. Charging via a standard power bank was possible with all batteries.

My conclusion: You can't go wrong with any of these batteries. They are all similarly priced; sometimes you just have to wait for a good discount.

Overall, the K&F Concept batteries seem to perform most similarly to the original Canon LP-E6P batteries. For charging two batteries simultaneously, the DuraPro charger is by far the best in my experience.

Due to the issues with the BG-R20 and its serial number, I personally opted for the DuraPro and the K&F Concept batteries. Now, with four excellent replacement batteries, I'm ready to go outdoors...

Disclaimer: This brief test is not intended to be a scientifically rigorous analysis or to reflect long-term experience, but is based solely on personal experience and usability. I paid for my new batteries at full price; the incompatible batteries were returned.

A few more details about the battery pack offered here ("K&F Concept LP-E6P 2400mAh Camera Battery (2-Pack), LCD Dual Slot Power Charger Kit"):
The battery level indicator on the camera wasn't as accurate as I would have liked. When the battery level showed 1% and 0%, I was still able to record almost 20 minutes of video before the camera finally gave up the ghost and displayed only the message "Replace battery." In this respect, the K&F Concept batteries performed best out of all four options.

``` The charger is nice and slim, and fits easily in a backpack. However, the charging speed was rather disappointing, especially when trying to charge both batteries simultaneously. Other chargers are significantly faster. On the plus side, the casing is very lightweight.
Both batteries have different serial numbers, so there were no issues with registration or use with the BG-R20.
In-camera charging worked perfectly; the first battery charged to 100%, then the charging process switched to the other battery and charged it to 100% as well. However, I wouldn't recommend using in-camera charging, as the charging logic and time were significantly slower than with any external charger.
I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine product testing program and will try to present my experience and results with maximum objectivity.
It's definitely a good thing that Canon consistently sticks to one battery model—or compatible models. I now own several LPE6 cameras and batteries. I was able to test these with the EOS R5 and the 5D Mark IV. Both cameras accepted the battery, and the performance seems sufficient. I can't detect any direct difference compared to the original batteries. The charger does what it's supposed to and also has a nice design, which I appreciate. It's also nice and slim, so it fits perfectly in a backpack. I can personally recommend these batteries. The price is significantly lower than the original Canon batteries.
I ordered the K&F Concept battery set for my Canon and I'm absolutely delighted with it. The two LP-E6P batteries come with a handy dual LCD charger that clearly displays the charge level of both batteries – perfect for when you're on the go.
The 2400 mAh capacity is excellent – I feel like they even last a bit longer than my original batteries. They also reliably deliver power when filming in 4K or 8K, without the camera complaining or overheating.
What I particularly like:
Fully decoded – works flawlessly with my camera and the original charger.
Safety features like overcharge and short-circuit protection provide peace of mind.
Overall, it offers excellent value for money. If you're looking for a reliable alternative to Canon's original batteries, this is the one for you!
Highly recommended!
