If you don't expect a genuine, beefy Manfrotto Magic Arm, you won't be disappointed. This is a smaller, lighter but still handy alternative for a fraction of the cost. It's ideal for things like mounting little fill lights on a camera, where it's plenty sturdy enough. Each end has little retractable studs either side of the 1/4 inch bolt, so the included clamp won't slip around when you don't want it to- which solves a problem that plagues a lot of these little offbrand arms.
I'm using it for mounting a little webcam, which has a useless magnetic mount but handily, also a 1/4 inch tripod thread, and it's doing exactly what I want. It's a good product that works well if you stay within its physical limits. If you're looking for something to mount small accessories on a camera cage or similar, this is a surprisingly good choice.
