I’ve been experimenting with different ways to capture unique angles for my bike videos, and this little arm paired with the super clamp has completely changed the game for me. I clamp it right onto my bike frame — usually the handlebars or seat post — and it stays rock solid even when I’m hitting bumps, turning corners, or just cruising around.Before this, I tried a few cheaper versions from places like Temu (you know the ones, they look fine in the pics), but they were always either too flimsy, wobbly, or the joints wouldn’t stay put no matter how tight I cranked them. It got to the point where I’d spend more time adjusting the thing than actually filming. But the moment I unboxed this arm, I could already feel it was in a different league. The metal construction is solid — like surprisingly solid — and it has just the right amount of weight to feel trustworthy without being too bulky to mount on moving gear like a bike.The joints on the arm tighten down really well and actually stay in the position you put them, which is huge for action-style filming. I’ve mounted an phone mount, a small light, even a little field monitor for more composed shots — no sagging, no slow slipping out of position. Everything just stays where I want it. The locking knob feels beefy and smooth, and those orange accents make the control points easy to spot when I’m adjusting things on the fly.The clamp is equally impressive — it grips super tight onto most things, even tricky shaped objects. This is perfect for bikes or tripod and doesn’t require me to over-torque it to feel secure. In short: this thing is solid, versatile, and absolutely worth the money — especially if, like me, you’ve wasted a bit of time and cash on cheaper knockoffs that just don’t deliver. This accessory is essential in many photography and video jobs, allowing us to attach accessories with a standard 1/4 thread to the camera or other mounting points on a tripod, gimbal, camera cage, etc., such as monitors, spotlights, microphones... with the advantage that we can put them in whatever position we want. Although there are longer ones, I personally prefer these small ones to mount the monitor to the handle or camera cage, since they are enough to place the monitor in the position we want, saving weight and space. The aluminum construction with orange details is of high quality, the adjustment is quick and easy, maintaining the position firmly. It includes a clamp to be able to anchor the arm to tripod tubes, study stands or any other edge that the clamp can grip (although from experience, round tubes are much better than table edges, because it makes better contact and requires less pressure). Right price for a very useful and specialized accessory like this one.

this product is great for action cameras - I tend to record BTS (Behind the Scenes) footage with an Action 5 pro, and this magic arm allows me to attach it to my tripod or to the camera itself. I find this product incredibly high quality; the clamp is very strong, and the arm is flexible. I'd recommend this product.

Great little all-metal miniature magic arm with crab-claw super clamp. It's rock solid strong and can hold any small photographic accessory like action cameras or small LED lights.Oversized tightening knobs are a welcome feature and I find myself grabbing this guy out of my rigging bag whenever I'm trying to mount and hide a GoPro or small panel light.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with this clamp and magic arm bundle. The color scheme is nice, it feels sturdy (though that also means it feels heavy) and everything works. In practice, though, its usability is limited to mostly stationary, small objects that need little to no adjustment.Thats because the range of motion on the magic arm is limited due to the length of the screw and the release mechanism occurs by the single tightening screw which also releases the rosette joint. And the clamp has a circular shape, so it’s not ideal for flat surfaces like desks as it won’t properly clamp on, and even on some metal tubes, you might find that it’s not the right size.But if the dimensions are right and you are really only using this for smaller mini cameras and accessories, then it works just about as well as any thing else I have.
