The K&F brand is synonymous with quality camera filters. They are my first choice when looking for any type of filter for my lenses and have options at about every price point. This filter helps to soften your digital image a bit. Hard to believe we are in a time where the image can be "too sharp", having come from film, sharp images were always the desired result. With digital cameras, we are now looking to obtain some of those attributes that film provided. This black diffusion 1/4 filter provides the desired effect and is a good value. Really good for portraits.

Wonderful filter. Like all my other K&F filters, this one is beautifully made and high quality. This is one of those filters that you need in your kit. You can do so much with it beyond creating portraits with a dreamy feel. I use this filter at night too and love it! It throws a good chunk of mood to a scene. Such fun! I am also using it for astrolandscapes. I usually use the 1/8 diffusion for stars but this is turning into a fun filter too. The lens cap and tether is such an awesome addition too.

I have several K&F filters, so I wasn't surprised at the high quality of this one. For me, this 1/4 filter is the perfect level of mist effect. It's noticable but subtle and adds a somewhat dreamy look. It also helps high-res digital shots and videos to look more filmic, probably by cutting down oversharpness that can give that "video" or soap opera look. It is very well made and screws on perfectly. Comes with a very nice, sturdy plastic case to store it safely away.

Wow. K&F is one of the best filter brands in the business. I have their polarizer x ND filter, and it's a staple in my kit. I don't go anywhere without it, and it's usually always on my lens.
The Black Diffusion filter was one of those that I always looked at and never quite knew what to do with. Now getting to play with it, I see what the advantages are. It's best used for low light filming or at night. It creates a bit of diffusion in the highlights to create a sort of smoky, fog like haze. The overall effect is very cinematic and dreamy and gives everything a sense of mystery. It works especially great in cities and around neon or bright signage, but can also look great with bridges and street lights.
I'm looking forward to really playing around with this and creating some epic images.

Filtro para utilizar en fotografia de retrato o tomas de video de primeros planos donde se busca suavizar las arrugas, manchas y poros de la piel, también produce una imagen más suave, reduciendo el contraste creando asimismo un efecto de niebla alrededor de la fuente de luz.
Esta fabricado con vidrio óptico al que se le ha realizado un revestimiento múltiple de doble cara de 18 capas, su marco tiene un grosor de 3,3 mm y esta fabricado en aluminio.
Incluye 3 paños de limpieza de fibra ultrafina sellados al vacío y 1 tapa de lente...
Ya he utilizado anteriormente filtros de esta marca con resultados satisfactorios, en este caso también me ha gustado el producto, consigue el efecto deseado, su manufactura es cuidada, y los materiales utilizados para su fabricación son de calidad a un precio muy bueno para lo que ofrece...

Tengo varios filtros Black Mist de K&F de diversos tamaños e intensidades, y francamente los recomiendo mucho. Si te gusta hacer fotografía nocturna es prácticamente una necesidad, ya que suaviza los destellos y te da un resultado visual más plástico armónico. En este caso, al ser un filtro 1/4 el efecto es muy sutil. Lo justo para suavizar las luces sin llegar a crear un efecto de neblina.
Como detalle, me gusta que ahora venga con tapa y correa, ya que el primer Black Mist que adquirí de K&F no las traía. Eso me supuso un pequeño inconveniente, ya que normalmente compro filtros grandes para poder usarlos con varios objetivos mediante anillos adaptadores; por tanto, no tenía ninguna tapa de la medida adecuada para protegerlo. En estas versiones han corregido ese inconveniente, y se agradece.
