The K&F Concept Protect Cover Case is the perfect, inexpensive travel companion for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. The original, DJI-provided cover for the Osmo Pocket 3 leaves open the opportunity for the camera lens to be scratched because the camera head can rotate freely when in an off position. This cover solves that problem by completely covering the gimbal and the screen.The plastic housing is thin and lightweight plastic, but appears constructed well enough to withstand bumps and jostling in a camera bag or suitcase because the gimbal cover snaps closed together seemlessly. Because of its lightweight design, the cover would be unlikely to protect the gimbal from drops of the camera from high up or heavy crush pressure, but neither would the original DJI-provided cover.I love the added functionality of being able to toss the entire gimbal into my bag knowing the gimbal and screen is protected without having to disassemble each piece of the camera for quick on-the-go video recording.The screen protector is a nice addition as well and is crystal clear, easy to apply with the included positioning stickers, and fits perfectly.

My first thought when opening the box was that it felt empty. It wasn't. Instead, this case is remarkably lightweight. But my impression is that in spite of its extraordinarily thin plastic walls, this case send pretty sturdy. In terms of perceived weight, think of an empty eggshell. It covers only the more fragile upper half of the Osmo Pocket 3, leaving the control buttons uncovered, but I don't see that as any real trouble. When using the standard DJI case, sometimes the gimbal wants to spin out of position as you're inserting the camera. No so with this case. It's easy to insert the camera into this case and once it's in, the cover snaps securely closed.The included tempered glass screen protector worked just fine, but there were no instructions for installing it. Fortunately, I have installed similar screen protectors on other devices in the past, so I had no real difficulty.The standard DJI case provided in the camera bundle has a spot to store a couple of accessory filters or lenses, which this case does not. Not a showstopper for most, though.Although this cover has a much more irregular shape than the DJI version, I had no difficulty storing the camera with this cover in a third party carrying case which has a space specifically designed to hold the camera in its standard DJI cover.In the end, I might purchase this cover if I lost or damaged my DJI case but don't think it's a significant upgrade.Edit: I have discovered a nice added feature. The plastic is sufficiently translucent to allow seeing the battery level(s) displayed on the screen when charging, even dimmed. If I touch the screen, through the case, it brightens briefly for even easier reading. I had assumed it to be opaque. I'll note that it seems that the camera stops displaying the charge level once the camera itself is at 100%, even if the second battery is below 100%. Instead, the LED on second battery acts as an indicator.Having used this for a recent trip and discovering this new "feature", I am upgrading my review to 5 stars.

Perfect cover for people who want to actually put their Osmo Pocket 3, in their pocket.A lot of times I use my Pocket 3 with a cage for the action camera mount, but using that cage doesn't allow me to use the little cover that the Pocket 3 comes with. This was a solid solution. Fits just fine, seems pretty durable so far, and functions as advertised. Would buy again if this one happens to break.

Comes well protected with foam and plastic sleeves. The cover itself has a clamshell desgin, form fitting onto the gimbal and screen, holding on securely without any wiggle. Two snap pressure latches on the sides keeps the cover from falling off. The screen protector comes with dust removal stickers and a dust cloth, just like with phones.

I'm obsessed with accessorizing my Osmo pocket 3 and this contraption is perfect. While it is easy to put on, I will admit that it can be tricky to take off at times. But I am quickly getting the hang of it. The plastic case is durable and well-designed. The lens guard is a great feature that keeps the lens scratch-free, and the overall fit is snug and secure. Overall, it's a great accessory that gives me peace of mind when I'm on the go with my Pocket 3.

my fellow OP3 owners are aware of the existing OP3 cover, which isn't perfect, but generally does some coverage (if the lens piece isn't peeking out), and includes 2 additional magnetic lens holders. you might be aware of the additional accessory which provides 360 degree (instead of 180) coverage to the OP3, but since we've got a full wrap-around, it's a little bulky. but you keep the 2 lenses stored for easy access. enter this thing. it's a wrap-around for the lens (super clutch) and an integrated front screen cover, in the slimmest package yet, for truly pocket storage and access on the go. the catch: no place to put the additional lenses, if you want to have them with you. pros and cons, but not enough to affect the overall 5 star rating. get yourself one of these!
