I vastly prefer this mount over a regular chest harness for my DJI Osmo camera. It's just so much easier to put on, feels comfortable and in my use it provides 90% of the stabilization which is fine, because Osmo Action easily compensates for minor shakes.Overall, this is a really neat design, and I would absolutely recommend it for all, less extreme activities. I don't think it will work well on a mountain biking trail, but for hiking, riding on smooth surfaces or kayaking it's perfect!

The neck mount for the Insta360 X5 convinced me overall. It is very sturdy and lasts reliably even during action-packed activities such as stand-up paddling. I find it particularly practical that my hands are completely free. The magnetic closure is very strong and can only be released via the two buttons on the back — this looks safe and well thought-out. The length could be a bit longer for my taste, but it still serves its purpose. The many accompanying essays are also nice, although not all absolutely necessary. Overall, a well-thought-out solution for anyone who wants to carry their camera comfortably on their body.

I once tried to make a DIY version of this whist cycling in Bali and I noticed a problem- when you lean forward and sit up, the angle changes. Now, the more you leave it to gravity the less that is a problem, but this is a relatively fixed angle so is it better or worse?A bit of both. Firstly, it's super well made. The neck band is weighty but not super heavy. The material is grippy but not abrasive, and the band is malleable like those tripods that you can bend the legs to any shape.I do feel like the attachment section is a bit cumbersome. You attach your action camera to the regular mount on one side but the end end is a circle that pushes then twists into the neck band. It's angled to start with to avoid looking download but ability to change the angle is limited. That's why they give you a second mounting accessory that is super configurable but is just a bit big and it's all far from discrete if that's what you were hoping for.So does it solve the problem of the angle changing when you lean forward or sit up more straight? Not really. There is no stabilising gyroscope or anything fancy, but having the action camera mount means you can adjust it, however you need to loosen the screw etc, so it's not something you'll be able to adjust frequently or with one hand.

Today I would like to write my personal opinion about the magnetic neck holder from K&F Concept, which I was able to test as part of the Vine program. This doesn't affect my review in any way. I hope I can help you decide for or against the product. The magnetic neck mount from K&F Concept is designed for use during action. During normal hikes, it would be a bit too stiff and also too “massive” for me. There are easier alternatives here. During action, however, the ActionCam should remain in place as much as possible, even if you move quickly or jerky. In most cases, this works very well with the bracket. Another little thing, which may be a negative point for some people, is that you cannot fix the bracket. There is no provision for attaching a belt or the like to secure the bracket against lateral slipping (which can happen with some movements due to the fixed design). When you hold the holder for the first time, it looks a bit like a bicycle lock, only more flexible. The material is silicone and inside is a kind of solid wire. This allows you to bend the holder as you like and it then stays in position. Once you have placed the holder around your neck, simply click the end of the ActionCam recording. Now attach the magnetic holder to the camera, insert the camera into the holder, tighten and you're done. To release the camera or the entire holder, there are 2 buttons on the back. One to release the camera and one to release the strap. This is self-explanatory. What is also a bit annoying is attaching the camera to the magnetic holder. Although the magnets on the ActionCam mount are attracted by the holder, they must then be twisted a bit snappy to lock firmly. The whole thing isn't as smooth as it should be. I've seen that better with other owners. Pros: + Good and firm fit + Comfortable feel + Can be flexibly adjusted + Holders for various cameras Neutral: - Magnetic recording a bit “fiddly” - ActionCam mounts cannot be purchased separately (for use with multiple cameras) - No way to secure lateral slipping (strap or similar) Conclusion What it is intended for, the mount is well suited for use during action. This neck mount is good quality, and provides a fairly comfortable and secure mount for an action camera (or even a cell phone with a third-party phone holder). I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it only works for low-kinetic activities. If you want to take this thing on a MTB ride, or anywhere with jumps or jolts, it will be jumping up and down on your chest.A very simple solution would be to secure the bottom part with a strap around the chest.It surprises me that K&F did not include such a strap, because they usually make high quality, functional accessories.

The neck mount for action cams is very flexible and can be easily adapted to your own needs. In addition, the neck strap is covered with velvety plastic, which feels very comfortable. The mount for the camera itself is made of sturdy plastic and is equipped with an incredibly strong magnet, which holds the separate attachment with the camera very well. For safety reasons, you can also lock the whole thing, but even with the magnet alone, the camera holds very well on the mount. A second attachment is included, with which you can position the camera lower or, thanks to a swivel, vertically. Compared to other neck mounts for action cams, this one from K&F Concept has the advantage of a magnetic mount - so you can easily and safely switch between different attachment methods. However, other neck holders have additional thickenings, which rest on the collarbone and make the holder slightly less susceptible to shocks. With a little more adjustments to the flexible strap, the K&F Concept model also fits very well. If you wear it over a jacket, the seat is much more stable. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the neck mount; the price is competitive anyway.
