The filter promises to be a 2-in-1 polarizing filter that can remove reflections and enhance contrast, while also being a "true color" filter that eliminates color cast. The coating also claims to be particularly low-reflection and resistant to scratches and contamination.
In fact, in practical use of the 77mm filter with my RF 14-35mm F4L IS USM, this seems very consistent to me. When activating the polarizing filter effect, the image is slightly darkened, and as expected, bright or reflective areas in the image disappear in certain shooting situations (depending on the incidence of light), but I can't detect any additional color cast, for example.
