I have several adapters for my Osmo Action 5 Pro, but I was lacking a 1/4 screw mount. This adapter definitely fits that role while also able to be used with some of my other adapters. For all intents and purposes, it's a multipurpose adapter.The magnet that attracts the mount adapter to the camera feels as strong as my other adapters, which provides a satisfying connection. The 1/4 part of the adapter is fully compatible with some tripods I already owned as well. The secondary mounting option works great as well by flipping up the two sides. There appears to be small magnets on each side that, while not touching, is enough of a pull to keep them from easily falling back down while you attach the other side of what you're mounting to. One complaint I have is that the flappy parts don't feel as strong or durable as the rest of the adapter, but it should hold up just fine.The other included piece isn't compatible with any other accessory I have, but it all connects to each other just fine. The plastic of that piece definitely feels a bit cheaper than the main adapter, but also should be strong enough for its purpose.Overall, I'm quite happy with this adapter as it can keep me from needing to carry multiple adapters if I want to travel a bit lighter with the camera. While the parts may not all feel like the highest quality materials, they still feel strong and durable enough to work well.

Works both on DJI Action 4 and GoPro12 (I have 3rd party adapter on GoPro with similar quick release adapter).So easy to clip/on off.Also offer 1/4 inch hole which DJI Action 4's adapter didn't have.Excellent built and no issue with clip coming off.Highly recommend.

Nice mount. The magnet inside is really strong and it just 'wants' to connect to the camera. Once its nearby, it attracts itself to the camera and usually locks in. Locking is positive and wont let loose. This mount als includes a 1/4" 20 screw hole so that you can mount the camera onto tripods, magic arms etc. For professional video producers, having the screw hole is required. I have other items from this manufacturer and have been happy with everything I own, this is just as well made as anything Ive gotten from them before and is high quality metal.

I have a few cages that I use with my Osmo Pocket 3, these cages also provide the ability to attach DJI Action camera mounts to them. This allows me to easily swap out the camera between the mount and using the OP3 handheld. This adapter works perfectly with my cage and has a 1/4"-20 on the underside if I wanted to mount directly to my tripod. I turn to K&F for camera filters all time and this adapter is of equal quality, well machined and finished.

Quality is just as good as most. These designs take a little fiddling to get them to work fit but they are really useful and this is a great version to get. Anything that has black and orange is cool looking.

For my use, I folded the mounting tabs in and screwed on a 1/4-20 to 5/8 light stand adapter, and life is good! The magnets are super strong, and it goes on and comes off easier than the OEM mounts. Not disappointed at all.

The magnet is not as strong as OEMThe clip mech is also not loud, so please double check to ensure it did click and lock in placeStill good to have since you can change the connection from chest style mounts to say tripod without a different adapter.I do like the aluminum, seems more durable

If you don't have or don't like shooting through the waterproof cage, but you need the action camera prongs for mounting it to accessories, this might be your answer. It's magnetic so it isn't attached by anything other than a magnet. Personally, I wouldn't trust the magnet to hold during sports, or while driving, but I would use this for vlogging and getting my camera on a stick. But I'm also cautious and keep my camera in a waterproof case.

I almost couldn't believe it when I tested this quick release adapter out with my new DJI action 5. This mount is BETTER than the DJI one. It is just as strong magnetically, but the hinges are much easier to release (when you want them to.) Works both with and without the camera's cage installed. It also is much more versatile, with posts for GoPro-style accessories that retract to reveal a 1/4" mounting hole. That opens up a ton of possible uses without having to shuffle between different mounts. It looks and feels well made. It comes with a GoPro-style clip and screw to get you started.I will be using this as my default mount from now on. HIGHLY recommend this to make your camera kit more efficient AND versatile!
