Very impressed with this.A sturdy, chunky piece of kit that does it's job very well.Yes, it's a little stiff to pull up but that just means that it's a solid stick with no movement at the joints.The lock mechanism is easy to use and the rubberised grip at the base is excellent.A screw for tripod mount or other accessories is a great touch. A thumbscrew and tripod adaptor is also included.Extends far enough to get a good shot but not so far that you risk poking someone's eye out at a hundred paces.Compact(ish) when folded, lightweight and sturdy feeling. Great value.Could double up as a truncheon :-)

There is a good heft to it but it is not heavy enough to make using/carrying it impractical. It is a simple twist to lock/unlock and is telescopic which means it takes up minimal space in my bag. I like that the bottom has a place where you can attach a tripod, the connection is very secure.This model is completely different to the one that has an inbuilt tripod, something worth noting if that is what you’re looking for.

I got this to use with my DJI Action 3, and it's a pretty decent selfie stick to be able to use. It is easy to adjust and is pretty stable, while also having a nice lanyard to keep everything sturdy.The only reason why I am giving this a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because compared to its competitors at this price range, there just isn't anything that sets this apart and gives it any sort of wow factor.Overall, I can still recommend this selfie stick, especially for those who are able to get this on a discount.

The problem is that the locking mechanism is not very intuitive and people could easily over twist itOverall, I am satisfied

In terms of build quality, it has a very robust construction - the carbon fibre elements feel sturdy, with a sleek finish. Given that you can extend the pole up to three times its original length, I found the movement of this to be smooth - no sticking or jamming up, making it easy to put away, too. It is finished off by a large, rubber handgrip that has a twisted texture - this feels nice in the hand, whilst its surface area makes it less likely that the selfie stick will slip out of your grasp.I did find that the 'teeth' attachment used for connecting an action camera were a little tighter than I felt they should be, but did not ultimately stop me from being able to put my DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro on the stick. Panning my camera was easy, and had less wobble than it might have done, had I only been hand-holding it.In summary, a good value item that I will continue to use.
