I do training and I'm loving this recorder because I can record all the meetings and training sessions. It's very small and light, you can take it with you, and it's helping me a lot at work.

I was looking for a recording device that was small but still offered good quality. It's perfect for my purposes, and the recordings are very easy to understand. I really like the fact that you can listen to the recordings directly through the headphones.

According to the instructions and when I googled it the WAV format for the recordings should work with Windows media player. However, a message came up saying this format was not supported.
I got around the problem by downloading a programme called VLC which will play just about any format. Once this was downloaded it worked fine.
As to battery life I will find that out once I have used it for a while.

I tend to struggle with keeping up when taking notes during a lecture and as I am typing or writing, I begin to miss out on important information. I wanted to be able to record my lectures so that I may go back and take notes and allow myself to be present at the time and absorb all that I can. I have no tested this out in my classroom as of yet, but I did try it at home. I placed it approximately 20 feet+ from where we were and left it under a playing tv. It very clearly picked up the audio from the tv and was very clear. I was surprised that you were able to hear us speaking at the same time. It was in a lower volume than that of the tv audio, but it was clear enough to understand what was being said. The manual states that it come with a card with a QR code on it to lead you to an instructional video, mine did not. However, I did manage to figure out how to use it easy enough from reading the manual. I use an iPad Pro for school and it does come with an adapter for usb c use to plug into your device for review. It does not pop up the window like it states, but as soon as I opened my files I had to option to click on it and found the folder for recordings and settings. It was easy enough to listen to the file. However, under settings I am supposed to be able to type yes or no to determine if I want continuous recording or voice activated, as well as adjusting the time stamp. I was unable to do either of those. I do think of perhaps I was on a windows computer it would work. It came fully charged which is nice. It also comes with earbuds for listening, a plug in adapter to press play, select which audio file that the earbuds plug into for review. It has the charging cord and the adapter to covert USB to usb c, and a nice little carrying pouch. It is magnetic, but the only strong magnetic connection I managed to find was that of my fridge. It had a weak hold on my stove so I do not believe it would hold well unless it is against something intended to be magnetic. It is thin and small enough to be very compact, discreet, and convenient to use. Apparently you can also use this as an MP3 device. You can move files onto the recording device and vice versa on your computer. I thought that was a very cool thing. I do believe it stated each recording file will hold up to 2 hours worth of audio before automatically switching to a new file while recording. I am quite pleased so far, and if it ends up not holding up during class I will come back and edit my review.
