Bought this to record meetings without the need for phone. Battery life is great and the recording quality is clear when playback. The long battery life allows for long meetings and the noise cancellation helps you only hear the speaker.

Works great

This small digital recorder is a 3 in 1 device! Not only can it be used as a conversation recorder, but also as a flash drive to save files and you can also store music in mp3 format. Its main function as a voice recorder is activated when it hears sound, and automatically stops when it stops detecting it. The recordings capture sounds at 360 degrees in a sharp and clear way. It comes with two sets of headphones with which you can fast forward and rewind the audio, apart from listening, among other things that can be done. It is super small and light, making it totally transportable.

When choosing a recording device, it's important to ask yourself what you are looking for (what features are most important to you) because there isn't a device that has everything. Here is a PRO/CON breakdown of this particular device...

PROS:
- Extremely small. This is great for discreet recordings as most people around you won't even notice you are recording, It can easily fit in even the smallest pocket with room to spare.
- it's magnetic. Hit record and stick it to your to any ferrous metal.
- It's ridiculously easy to operate. Turn it on when you want to start recording. Turn it off when you want to stop.
- downloading to the computer is pretty straightforward as well. If you just want to do playback, nothing could be easier - you can even listen to it through the supplied earbuds. If you want to edit the file, then you need a computer.
- Charging is fairly fast and the battery life (at least as a new unit) appears to be pretty long

CONS:
- audio quality is not the greatest. This stands to reason and it's one of the things you can expect to give up when you make the equipment this small. I'm sure there is spy gear out there that can deliver amazing audio at an even smaller size ... but this isn't it (and I'm sure those smaller spy devices cost A LOT more money)
- It's easy to misplace. Granted, this isn't anything to do with the item itself but, if you're like me and have a tendency to misplace things (glasses, car keys, etc), then think twice about a recorder that's about the size of a milky pendent. My advice would be to keep it in something that is easier to find. It comes with a small drawstring pouch that is big enough to also hold the earbuds and charging wire.

Overall, if you place more importance on having a recorder that has a small. discreet profile and is easy to use while not caring as much about the quality of the recording being high fidelity - and if you trust yourself not to lose it, this is a solid choice for you.

Excellent recording device with good preamps
Very small and very capable device. Low self-noise and quiet pre-amps allow for excellent quality of recording.
