This small fluid head is perfect for my small tripod and camera. It is easy to get a nice pan with this well machined head. Highly recommended.

I was fed up with my tripod ball head not reliably holding the camera & lens position. I also wanted to track e.g. wildlife or give a smooth mount for video. I use a Sony ILCE camera and large zoom lens and this unit has proved most useful. I've added a rubber band to the grip handle so that gently pulling it give a smooth start to scanning - it would prove a useful addition to the design - but not worth knocking a * off.

I work as a freelance news photographer/videographer and need something ultra mobile/lightweight, but it still safely carries my fully equipped camera (V-mount battery, monitor, light, large lens). This head seems to me to be the ideal solution. The workmanship looks outstanding and every screw (Tilt, Pan and Arca Swiss) is a good size to really tighten it.
In combination with the Rollei carbon stand, I now have the perfect mobile combo that still lasts a bit.

Great quality item that fits easily with tripods of the same brand, just unscrew and return the screw (or remove the white screw thread) for fixing, solid, quality. I recommende. the top
