Well-built hardward; has some nice weight to it... feels like it will last a very long. This works perfect to allow me to connect my phone or GoPro to the tripod when I'm shooting with my DSLR. Actually includes a GoPro mount... I didn't need it, but it's a nice bonus. It also includes an expandable phone mount... it seems solid, but is built out of plastic. Since I already have a really nice, all metal phone holder, I won't be using this one.

We use these to mount remote controlled pan&tilt bases AND hand-held Video Cameras. With just a little added gripping material, they hold everything solid and steady.

This is my third clamp of this type, but from different brands, so I think I have a good point of comparison. I liked that it’s compact and very easy to adjust. Each joint has a hex key socket, which is a nice detail. The material quality is high - the phone holder plastic is dense and feels very reliable. That part deserves extra praise since it’s both compact and convenient.
I tested it with Sony FX30 and an 18-105mm lens - it holds the setup firmly, which has always been an issue for me in the past. Surprisingly, this time I made the right choice. Time will tell, of course, but for now, I’m fully satisfied.

Why? Not because something was wrong, but because it was so right. The convenience of being able to clamp a camera to just about anything, angle it exactly as I want it to be angled, and not have to worry. This is so easy and so strong I had to have two.
