Most of my clamps are plastic and not very impressive, but more or less get the job done. These ones are excellent and I really love them. They really made for clamping onto tubes, down to about 5/8 in thick. They're perfect for light stand and anything larger. It's possible to use them on flat surfaces like a desktop, but they won't get a solid side to side grip, though that may be plenty for your needs.
So many quarter 20 threads are the candles on the icing on the cake. It makes them so incredibly versatile.
They're easy to operate and perfect seeming construction. And on top of all that, they're just so darn pretty.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE CLAMPS!! i also have the magic arms by K&F concepts which pair perfectly with these clamps. SUPER WELL MADE. all material is solid metal, has about 10 different places that you can threads the mount onto giving you endless possibilities on adjustability and mounting and the clamping is supper easy, just twist to open or close. Very functional, crazy good price for the quality.

I really like these clamps! They’ve quickly become one of my go-to camera accessories. They’re very easy to use with any magic arm and are surprisingly lightweight, making them perfect to toss into a travel bag without adding bulk.

What really stands out is how secure they feel. I can mount my DJI camera in a variety of places and not worry about it slipping or falling. The clamp opens to about 2 1/4 inches, which gives plenty of flexibility for different setups, and the anti-slip rubber pads provide extra grip and protection.

I also appreciate how often people ask me about them. Definitely a sign they stand out. Overall, a reliable and versatile tool for anyone working with monitors, lights, or cameras.

The clamp closure mechanism feels very smooth and turns extremely easy until clamping force is required making it easy to go from a large opening to a small one quickly. The clamps are really solid and do not rattle or have play. They fit easily into a bag and the small tightening know doesn't easily get caught on things like cables and straps. The are great for action cameras, lights and mics. Because of the design they will clamp onto anything that fits between the jaws unlike the clamps. The two pack is a.good value for something this usable and well made.

These are seriously well made clamps. Aluminum and stainless steel construction keeps them light at around 125 grams each while still feeling solid in the hand. The jaws open up to 60mm, which is wide enough to grab onto most rails, pipes, table edges, and light stands without any adapter gymnastics. Ten 1/4" thread holes spread across the body give you a lot of flexibility for positioning accessories, and the non-slip rubber pads inside the jaws grip whatever you clamp onto without marring the surface. That last part matters more than people realize until they've had a cheaper clamp chew up a light stand or leave rubber marks on a finished railing.

Threw a heavy camera on one just to see how it handled the load and it held firm with zero movement or creep. Rated to 2kg, which covers most mirrorless bodies and a good number of DSLRs. The T-bar locking knob tightens down quickly and holds position without needing to crank it, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to dial in a shot and don't have a free hand to fight with a stubborn clamp. Grabbed onto every surface I tried without any slipping and gave my magic arm a solid foundation. Two in a pack, and these are now the default clamps in the bag going forward. These K&F clamps have earned their spot in my bag.

This is a perfect fit for my small studio in my second room. I’ve paired it with an extra ball mount I already had. Additionally, I’ve moved my microphone from the top of the Elgato Teleprompter to a dedicated desktop camera stand.
