Got photos of the solor eclipse. My lens was not the best but this worked great.

I have several K&F filters and they all perform reasonably well.
Any time you put extra glass in front of your lens you run the risk of compromising the optics. I find that the K&F filters don't really impact the overall image quality and this one is no exception.
Keep in mind that this filter is highly specialized. It's really made for photographing the sun. If that's what you need it for, then it's definitely worth the price.

They are great for photographing the sun. However, I would still take precautions when utilizing for direct sun viewing.

there are thin clouds and I cannot get the details even with HDR.
But this filter is great, enables possibility of taking photos of the sun when stopping down to f22

Perfect for eclipse photography and night photography using super bright lights to light up the night, plus great lens protection and build quality!

Darker and safer than welding hoods for the sun. I'm not an expert but I suspect the 20 stop claim is accurate.

Well, for something I will probably only use a few more times in my lifetime, it served it's purpose. Seems to be well made, but I'm not an astrophotographer.
