I bought this to protect my new prime lens. I like the UV filter and the quality glass. However, in bright sunlight, I notice a distracting flare in my photos caused by sunlight refraction, Knowing that, I will still use the filter but will have to be careful how I compose my shots.

Contrast is good for the price. Colors on my images are consistent... all you can ask for in a affordable UV Filter.
