like to use UV filters for lenses that aren't in the studio enviornment. Nothing sucks more than having the elements contimanate your lens and having to hault the shoot to fix it. The major downside to this approach is the bulk and loss of image quality with inexpensive UV filters. This filter perfectly addresses that need. It has a very slim profile that is barely noticable - yet still functions great for attaching the lens cap. The small profile also produces less distance between your glass and the filter. I haven't noticed any ghosting, chromatic aberattions, or other distortions from using this filter. This is very rare - and marks the K&F as a winner in my book.

its hard to believe, but this is the first UV filter that I have had that actually makes my images BETTER! Most UV filters I have used over the years have had no real real visible effect on my images, and some have actually had negative effects because of poor quality. This filter is seriously amazing to me. It better be for the price, right?! Lol. its pretty expensive, but my images are actually coming out better with it, so I guess its worth it. Loving everything that is coming out of K&F Concepts lately. they have really stepped up their game.

Alongside its new upcoming ND and CPL flagship filters, the UV filter is another great addition to the new Nano-X PRO Series from K&F. This is a fantastic addition to any camera setup as it reduces haziness and blue-ish cast. Some UV filters get backlash for actually causing other strange artifacts in images such as distortion or discoloration, but this filter does not negatively affect the image quality at all. Overall, I really recommend you get something like this for your camera. No, it won't reduce the image quality, and it'll actually be a lifesaver as it enhances the image quality and it also offers a level of protection for your lens! Replacing a UV filter is much easier than replacing the glass of your lens if damaged, so keep that in mind.

Simple and clean is the way. I've learned that some cheaper alternatives add distortion or even discoloration to your photos and I don't want something that keeps me in the touch ups longer than I need to be. K&F has really done something simple and beautiful here. No distortion. No discoloration. And I can let this live on my lens to keep it safe and offer an extra line of defense in the unfortunate event that something happens. Quality of the build is nothing short of what you'd expect from K&F. Everything fits into place, screws on nicely, and the glass feels like it's secured into the metal housing. Definitely recommend even with the other massive amounts of competition out there.

like UV filters that don’t get in the way and protect my expensive lenses. I would say this one qualifies. It is very slim and light and I don’t notice any abberations from the glass. No softness or mist or darkening. Just a crystal clear pass through. Perfect. I’ve had the best brands in the world over the years and this is on par with all of them, as it should be for the price. Easy to recommend.

First of all, I have to say that K&F are not my first choice. With this filter and the offer, I wanted to try it out. I bought the NANO-X Pro in 82mm for a high-priced premium lens and did not want to make any compromises. The packaging alone surprised me. Very high quality, very well thought out. The artificial leather case is nice, but I will never use it; the filter stays on the lens. As for the filter itself, it feels heavy and high-quality, it sounds phenomenal, brass is simply brass. The transmission is first-class, and the mirror behavior immediately won me over. A hardcore test will be carried out as soon as the sun shines again. The tests in the studio show no difference with or without the filter. So far, I can absolutely recommend the filter. I want to and will test more K&F products in the future.

good filter with little to no aberration. It's mounted on a Sigma 16-28 F2.8, and I haven't noticed any differences in photos taken with or without the filter.

This was good value for money, nice metal ring with easy to grip ridges so that you can unscrew it easily. Slim enough, but it was fitted onto a long lens, it doesn't affect image quality and comes in a nice box with a storage wallet.
