For the price, this thing is incredible.Quality is totally fine for the price. The effect is most extreme when the dynamic range is greater, such as bright lights or backlit scenes. It's subtle enough to leave it on my lens and not even think about it. Image quality is great.

1/8 is the perfect diffusion. takes the edge off without getting all 'ethereal' or unrealistic looking. seems to help with Sony on making the digital feel less pronounced. only weird artifacting you get is at the super wide end, closer to 16mm (full frame) so i don't use it on my 16-35.

Very dense black diffusion filter - great for adding soft character to a very sharp sensor and lens. K&F makes a great product, solid packaging, and excellent glass.

Surprised with how good photos turned out with this filter. It creates a nice soft looking images that are well balanced. Have only tried it once at a beach but will definitely be bringing this filter to more places!

very nice filter for adding that dreamy effect. It softens the image and is very helpful on reducing wrinkles when taking portraits. I intend on using this filter for landscapes as well as portraits. The filter is solid with the rim made of metal and easily screws onto your lens. This filter comes in a hard plastic case and included were three microfiber clothes individually sealed in plastic. I have other K&F filters and have never been disappointed.

I have used this brand of lens in the past with zero issues. This lens works just the same. It spins on without any problems and can be rotated freely.

I love this. It gives a beautiful glow to lights, being a lover of film and cinematic looks, this is perfect. I got the 1/2 for those interested.

did some test shots of my face, I'll spare you the images. I have some sun damage and this filter did soften them a bit which was nice. It also softened the texture of my skin some as well. This filter came well package and with lens cleaners which is a nice touch in packaging. The threads screwed on without issue and I saw no anomalies, color cast or vignetting from the filter. This is a good tool to have for anything we can do to stay out of the time suck of post photo editing the better.

I have used 1/4 and 1/8 filters but I have never seen the 1 before. If you are familiar with the look that a mist filter provides then imagine that look greatly amplified. This filter creates a dreamy like look and gives a creamy smooth appearance to the skin. It blurs background lights a good bit. It’s like adding a lot of haze to the environment you are shooting in without sacrificing all of the detail and depth.
This effect can be too much for certain situations and taste and should be used with intention. This will definitely enhance your creativity in your work.
