Not "overly aggressive" as some diffusion filters can be and about half the price of others. Adds a nice "glow" to lights which helps mimic the look given by uncoated, vintage lenses. Highly recommend.

I'm really excited about the KNF Black Mist 1/8 filter. Especially for night shots, the bloom effect gives the photos a very special charm. The lights take on a soft, almost magical aura, and the halo is truly pleasing to the eye—not overdone, but rather aesthetically pleasing.
However, I wouldn't recommend the filter for daytime use. In daylight, the effect isn't as beneficial and can unnecessarily blur the image. However, for night or low-light scenes, it's an absolute asset to my setup.

I always find myself favouring k&f products these days but these filters really are worth the money they add so much to the image if you’re after the more “cinematic” look I’d definitely recommend a pro mist filter how it works keeping the contrast but blooming the high lights is like magic

This filter adds a bit of Halation effect to your footage. So if that's what you're looking for this is the item!

Very good finish filter, I haven't developed my photos yet so I can't give any feedback on the rendering yet.

picked up the 1/4 filter and it does a great job. It's more subtle than I thought it would be, but as I look at the images and video footage after the fact, I'm actually okay with that. You don't want to overdo it. I don't have other brands' mist filters, so I can't compare it, but for $25 it's great value.

have purchased the Tiffen BPM 1/4 however someone took it from my bag one night. So I purchased this to help compensate. This filter has been helpful to say the least. It does have a more prominent bloom effect. However this can either work in your favor or not. I would definitely weigh your options but for the price this is definitely worth it for me
