I got this for my birthday this year and it by far has not failed to impress me. You can see all kinds of crazy things. I did a water sample study for a BioBlitz a few months ago and I was amazed to see all the Protista and diatoms from the water samples I too. It is an amazing tool for any scientist. I am just a nature nerd in general and love how this microscope feels and looks and operates. Does take some getting used to if you have never used a microscope before but it is pretty nice once you get the hang of it. I love all my lab toys and all the things I do with them. This adds layers to what I already know and does challenge me a lot. I love looking in this thing. It is quite fun to use.

Great entry level microscope. We did have to tighten down a few things, but the phone adapter is cool. Overall it works pretty well and is what I would expect at this price point.

This microscope has light, and it came with everything we need it. At the beginning is complicated if you don’t have any experience with microscope but with help I was able to make it work. I could not focus anything but wife knew how to use it. Good quality and came with the slides and a few more ocular eye piece to switch. Good overall and quality, is a bit bulky but works great.

My item just arrived yesterday and i tried to get it working, so far i have been able to get item working. The manual is of less importance, and it is making it difficult to get one set up the phone connection. I wish there was an effective manual. If anyone has a solution on how to install and get the phone connection working, please let me know. I notice the eyepiece head can only rotate (but unstable) with the holding screw unlocked, it thus makes it very unstable and difficult. Picture quality is good, 3rd eye, and PC connect, good too. Now we shall watch how it holds up in the next weeks when subjected to sample examination.

Our grands kids caught the science bug, so of course the cool grandpa picked this up to fuel their curiosity. It might be a little over the top for elementary school aged kids, but hey, that's what grandparents do. lol

Not a bad product but I ordered the 5000x magnification and they sent me one that only goes to 2500x. Buyer beware.

This was a Christmas gift for my Great grandsons, so far it is well loved. I thought the price was very good.

This microscope was a little smaller than expected; however, it is nice. Great for homeschool or even just a curiosity in bioscience.
