So I’ve got 4 different full size microscopes now, ranging from a cheap plastic one I use outdoors to this nice unit here. Obviously there are various grades of microscopes with varying levels of build quality and mostly similar features. I would say this is a mid range scope, quite a bit better built than a lower end one and a ton of features such as imager for snapping photos, rotatable head and higher magnification.
I use the scopes for looking at cross sections of plants, leaves and their stalks for various diseases and growth issues. This is definitely a desktop type version. It’s big and it’s got a pretty large base which lends to a rather large viewing area. I really like this aspect of the scope. For me having the inch wide lens vs a much smaller one and gives me much more area in one view.
It’s got all the bells and whistles if you’re looking to get a first scope for a child this would be one heck of a place to start. Can’t imagine getting all these goodies with my first scope, but alas I do much less fun things on it lol honestly I don’t think there’s any downsides to this scope.
It includes a pretty decent carrying case with padding for the scope and all of your accessories as you can see from the photos it’s not like the worlds nicest carrying case but it’s a lot nicer than my other scopes cases which is basically the box they came in.
Great buy for anyone looking for a midrange scope with lots of options.

Set comes in a hard shelled zipper case.
Kids took it out and were extremely amazed with it.
Comes with several lenses and tools. Was able to see leaves and grass veins through the lenses. Good for kids science class.

All the screws holding the head mount on were floating loose in the microscope and one was missing

This microscope has a top notch build. All mechanisms rotate and adjust smoothly. I was very pleased with the lenses as well. They provided a crystal clear image on all slides I've observed. I was able to also successfully connect this to a monitor to view the slides on a larger screen. There is a phone mount included as well for recording footage. Overall I'm very pleased with the build and lens quality.

Overall, I love the microscope it works really well and I'm learning more each time i use it. I had to order and external drive to download the software to my laptop after days of trying to get the electric file sent to me with absolutely no response. So, i downloaded the software and bam the camera won't work so i just gave up on the camera which is very disappointing because i have bad vision and it would have made it a blessing. So, i guess i will have to order another camera from someone else which is very unfortunate because of paying for one with the microscope. And please don't tell me all I had to do is reach out to you i did with no results so if you want you can reach out to me.

I've recently been using this Kentfaith Compound Trinocular Microscope. This is my second microscope, this one is far better than previous one. It does have 5000x zoom based on my experience. Build quality of the microscope is amazing.
It does include a petri dish, a test tube, 10 slides, a 10+ glass cover, droppers, needles, etc. It has electric camera in the box that has amazing video quality.
I made my hair's slide just to see and in one of my photos you can see the zoom. It is not the maximum. I am planning on oberving some metals and their grain structures.
It does come with 10 premade slides, I put onion epidermis and it is far better than previous microscope.
I am taking off 1 star because, they loosely packed needels in the package without any warning. I get it that it is for smart people but it is not safe to do so. Packaging for pointy and sharp object could be improved.
Another issue is with the drivers of the camera/electronic eye piece. They have included a CD so technically they are good. But who has a CD reader these days? I was able to download Strange Vision driver of internet. I am not sure if they are the right kind but it works. They can easily put a QR code with a driver download link.
The camera doesn't work with Android or other systems, you need windows system to install the driver.
