I suggest to anyone interested in this filter to buy not the 1 which is too pronounced for my taste but the 1/2 or 1/4 which - in my opinion - will bring more satisfaction to the use! Excellent product.

good diffusion filter that costs less than its “known” analogues. The included case was a pleasant surprise. Despite its large size, there is no need to be afraid that the filter will get dirty or scratched in your bag or pocket.

In the pictures, the first image is with the filter on, the second one is without the filter. Shot with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 lens at f/1.8. The main difference is in the highlights area. Note how there is loss of contrast and a gentle glow effect around the candle lights and around the stronger highlights. Also, there is a very subtle, dream-like haze in the image, the image sort of feels a little bit warmer.
I can definitely see how this filter will have its place in my camera bag.
Quality-wise, the filter is very nicely made. The storage case is hugely oversized. Looks like the same case size is used for all filter sizes. This is suboptimal for the consumer, since there is no reason why I need to find space for the huge case for a small filter.
The retail box is presentable, and projects quality. The whole package would make a nice gift.

So far so good. It adds the right amount of haze for portraits to make it's stylistic. It doesn't add too much in my opinion, and the picture is still pretty sharp. I included a test shot below, which I took of a friend of mine in direct sunlight with a star filter and a ND filter as well (with this filter below)

For video work this filter combined with a Vari-ND filter produces the best video images in my opinion. No issue with head on lighting conditions and no color shifts.

I've used the filter a few times. When the sun is shining, you get a certain retro/dreamy effect. It worked really well for our film project.

Definitely gives you that nice vintage look. It's pretty strong, maybe too strong. 1/4 strength is probably the perfect amount

Well made and adds a very subtle change to your photos and video that make them feel more real. Adds a light smoothness and maintains sharpness well. Great product sold in with a solid protective hard case.

I have this mounted on my Fuji XT30ii and I love it. Packaging is excellent and the included lens case is amazing it allows you to place an variety of lens sizes into it using the grooves which are very nicely marked. The overall effect of the 1/8 is subtle which was exactly what I was looking for, ill definitely be buying the 1/4 when I want that more dramatic effect.
I would place a little bit of grease or graphite on the threads to ensure that they don't bind, the lens doesn't need to be tightened extremely hard just a lil snug. Over tightening will definitely cause some of the binding effects other users have experienced
