82mm MCUV Filter Ultra-Thin Trapezoid Patterned Frame Coating with a Vacuum Cleaning Cloth Nano-Klear Series
SKU: KF01.K82V2
This filter fits perfectly on my Canon EF 75-300 lens. I've already bought this type of filter from this brand for my other lens; it must be 10 years old, and I've never had any problems with it, so I'm confident about this one.

I've bought hundreds of UV filters over the past few years and K&F has some of the best filters for the price. Honestly, after getting some duds (not multi-coated, or plastic not-so-fantastic), I stick with K&F now. The filters that I buy are for a research project where we have cameras deployed in harsh conditions (arctic to hot deserts) and these filters act as the barrier between the camera innards and the outside world. Even though they're exposed to the elements, these filters have tough coatings that last years under adverse conditions. They're thin, though, so you do have to be careful if, like me, you're removing them from their mounting rings and repurposing them. I highly recommend!

K&F concept is a market leading brand and this UV filter is a testament to their capabilities to provide quality glass that have no detrimental effects to my expensive Nikon 24-70 2.8 Portrait lens.
I have a large collection of Nikon Lenses and I always protect them with UV filter. UV filters have minimum effects on photography so not really needed with modern DSLR or Mirrorless cameras. The only reason I buy one for each of my lens and replace them when they are looking tired or have signs of wear and tear.
I have learnt from my own experience that if you want to prolong the life of your expensive lens or same it from damage then nothing comes cheaper than a UV filter. Your lens has expensive multi coatings and if you are cleaning your lens regularly as finger prints, rain water and sand etc will ruin the coating over the time. I rather replace under £20 UV filter than over £1k lens.
UV filter is also protection from accidentally knocking the front element or in worse scenario if lens slipped out of your hand. I have seen many photographers sharing photos showing how UV filter protected the front elements.

Priced extremely well and I've never had an issue with any of these filters for my lenses. It's the first thing I order for any new lens I pick up. Highly recommend these for protection of your glass!

For many years, I relied on Walimex UV filters and have had very good experiences with K&F variable ND filters.
Now, out of pure interest, I came across K&F's UV filters and I'm quite satisfied.
They appear to be of very high quality and are very easy to screw on and off thanks to the teeth on the frame. I particularly like that the lens caps can be attached without any problems; this is often not possible with many other filters.
The filter glass is very neutral and doesn't alter the image quality in any way. I primarily use the filters simply to protect the lens glass, and they fulfill this function very well.

I always use K&F filters. In this case I'm using this filter just to protect my lens. This is a UV filter which can be great for reducing glare and keeping good quality with your images. It was nice of them to include a free microfiber cloth.
However when I installed it on my Nikon 24-70mm VRII lens, it squeaked a little as I was turning and installing the filter. Although this can be dust or dirt on the edge of the lens when turning the filter.
It's extremely lightweight so there's no need to worry about extra weight when carrying around your equipment.

If you are new to photography, or just new to filters, welcome to the world of K&F Concept. Like Apple, K&F know how to package and present their products. Opening a K&F filter is an experience in itself. The 58mm UV Filter Ultra Slim, arrives inside a lovely travel case, which is itself inside a transit box, underneath a tissue top sheet. It's not all show though, K&F have an excellent reputation for the quality of their glass and coatings. I mean what is the point of selling the wife and children, to afford a quality camera, only to fit it with cheap filters? If you are looking at a UV filter, you are probably looking to use it as a permanent camera lens protector. The Ultra Slim is exactly as described, a good quality ultraviolet filter, with multiple coatings, that you will barely notice on the camera. Highly recommended, as are the K&F tripods.

I only recently bought a camera, so I can't claim to have much experience.
I bought the filter to protect the lens from dust and scratches.
Because of the low price, I initially chose this one, since you can't really go wrong at that price.
However, I'm really impressed with the filter. It fits my Sony 1.8/55 lens perfectly. The Sony lens cap also fits very well on the filter.
The filter doesn't look cheap at all; it has a high-quality feel.
A cleaning cloth and a plastic storage box are included.
So far, I haven't noticed any difference in photo quality between photos taken with and without the filter.

Having had a fall on a trip to London, I was good that the U.V filter took the hit rather than the lens. I had to use a cable tie to remove the old one, and replaced with this filter.
I’ve been out with the camera again and the filter is great, you don’t notice it on.
A good filter and well worth the getting one.
