A little protection goes a long way and that exactly what this lens filter provides. My used EF 35-350mm lens arrived the other day and FAR from new, but still in terrific shape, so the first thing I did was order this filter. I've always purchased a name brand version when purchasing new, but those days are gone, because this one from K&F is perfect and a lot cheaper. Long ago a photographer friend of mine said, when (not if) you damage a lens, wouldn't you rather replace the filter instead of the actual glass. Totally! Highly recommend this an multiple other items I've purchased from K&F.

I always put filters on all my lenses. With lenses costing from several $100 to several $1,000s you want to have some sort of protection. A cracked filler cost a while lot less than a cracked lens. This UV filter fit well and has a thin profile.

When I opened it up, I thought I was scammed and was just sent the outer ring with no glass in it. Then I tilted it back and forth under the light and saw a slight reflection in the middle. Glass is SUPER CLEAR, I am honestly surprised and happy with my purchase. The UV filtering is just a side benefit, I just wanted a crisp and clear piece of glass to protect the front of my lens, and that it is! Highly recommend and I will be getting more in other sizes.

I purchased this protective 49 mm UV filter for my Fuji X100VI camera. IMO a protective filter is essential for most of the lenses, especially for this one which is almost flat and can be easily accidentally scratched or smeared. This glass filter has multiple nano coating which should avoid smearing water. The metal ring is knurled, a rare attribute at this price point, which makes it extremely easy to put the filter on or off and prevent the filter from getting stuck. The ring feels 'solid'.
Some of the reviewers mention the necessity of an adapter ring (sold separately) before you can put this filter on the camera lens. You don't need to spend extra money. Simply unscrew the original ring on the front of the lens and screw this or for that matter any other filter. The original lens cap fits nicely over the filter :-)

Crisp screw threads, very clear optic, no perceptible distortion in the image. Good value for the price.
