A thumb release to remove the camera from the tripod would be easier that the screw release.

This tripod replaces two other tripods I had. That's right, "had", because they were put and taken to Goodwill. This tripod adjust to every level and more. The "more", is the fact that it tilts and bends in every direction or the "more" could be the QUALITY!
