Industrial Endoscope 360° Free Steering 0.24 Inch Ultra-fine Diameter with 6 Led Lights for Car Inspection Pilot Home Sewer Inspection 2 Meters
SKU: GW45.0049
All high quality parts. Pictures up pretty close are very sharp. But it is easy to get disoriented after you have the end of the scope very far out of view. This is a tool that will take some practice for me to become proficient with. It's a very nice tool but be patient with yourself (and it) as you learn how to use it.

I like the fact that this bore scope's camera is housed in a flexible joint at the end of the probe. This joint is operated by a mechanical toggle lever located on the front of the controller. There is also an electronic switch to rotate the screen image. I had another device with a 16' probe that kinked and twisted so much it was useless. Disregarding the lengthy coil shown on the website, the probe length is only 3' long, but it's a useful 3'.
The camera has a fixed focus lens, giving a sharp image from 1/2" to infinity. To me, the pictures on the unit's display are much sharper than those recorded on the included micro SD card. This isn't a big issue to me, just an opinion. All the attached photos were taken by the unit in my workshop.
My review was on a free product, and I have rated it solely on its performance. You will need to review similar products to decide its value to cost ratio.

This inspection camera works well and has a good quality camera and light. The main selling feature is the articulation. It works great for engine work or similar jobs where you may need to move the camera around or even flip it 180 degrees. I was able to download the app and connect the camera to my Samsung phone very easily.

This is not my first borescope but my 3rd. I thought that I would start with something simple it worked and things were interesting, but I saw the flaw in my plan. Then I went with something much better (more modern and expensive) and it was! Suitable for child education, but not much else as it too fell short…
This however is by far the best borescope I have tried! It has a really clear picture. Easy to manipulate in tight situations. The light source works great and is easy to adjust. The focal length is wonderful. I am blown away by the ease of use, reliability, clarity, and versatility. It is a major step above what I have been using both in cost and quality, but this is well worth the cost! The cable is quite flexible to move through convoluted spaces but still stiff enough that it can mostly stand up on it's own.

Far better than a basic borescope. This unit not only has precise articulation control, but has several brightness modes and an easy to use capture button. The image clarity is great and it will allow you to easily inspect whatever engine, duct or crevice you need. It also comes with a nice protective case for safe transportation or storage. Highly recommended!

I really like the design of this innovative, articulating borescope. It is small enough to easily hold in your hand with a nice grip on the handle. The joystick takes a little practice, but is simple and straightforward to use. The picture quality is vey good. Everything fits perfectly inside the protective carrying/storage case. This is a great tool!

I had a very cheap scope without controls to turn the head. This is such a great advance for me. I've used it several times already to understand and diagnose issues and it made a huge difference in understanding what I was seeing. The images and video were high quality and the controls made it easy to use. Everything was very intuitive. I appreciate that the scope can be removed to clean and replace if necessary. I'm not certain where you would order a replacement. I hope they're available. It's also great that the rechargeable battery can be replaced. Everything is well thought out on this device.

First, I have another articulating borescope by Acekool, which has a longer cable, larger screen, and is half as expensive. It's only 2-direction, it only looks left and right, it doesnt have the 360 joystick. But before making a decision, you may want to evaluate your needs and do a little research.
Second, while overall I love this tool, the only thing that frustrates me is the cable length. You cannot trade this out for a longer cable, you're stuck with the 3.3 feet.
Despite those two comments, this is a fantastic borescope. It's easy to operate, seems well built. The picture is color, HD, good resolution. You can move your images/videos to a PC if needed, but the screen is pretty clear and playback is easy. For me, I will rarely have to move photos/videos to the PC. It comes with a micro SD preinstalled, which is great.
You may want to keep the manual handy until you get used to it, some of the features require long pressing buttons and things like that. It's all fairly intuitive, just takes some time to memorize.
The joystick is controlled by internal cables, similar to bicycle brake lines. It's not motorized, so you can control the camera with the joystick even when the power is off. That also means these internal cables will stretch out and wear out eventually, though this should last for quite a while before you have to worry about this.

This Borescope is a must-have tool for any DIY enthusiast or professional mechanic. The camera head is compact enough to fit into tight spaces, and the 4-way articulation provides incredible maneuverability. I've enjoyed using this borescope in other to have eye on the hard-to-reach in my attic. It allowed me to inspect hard-to-reach areas in my car with ease, which would have been impossible otherwise.
The 4.3-inch HD screen offers clear visuals, and the image quality is great. I'm able to capture image and record critical details on the in-built microSD card. The 1-meter flexible cable is sturdy yet pliable, making it easy to navigate without feeling overly rigid. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of the design—it feels solid and well-constructed.
It took a few minutes to learn the articulation controls, but once I did, it was smooth sailing. The battery life is decent but could be longer for extended inspection sessions.
Overall, the Kentfaith borescope is a reliable, well-designed tool perfect for detailed inspections. It has already saved me time and money by avoiding unnecessary disassembly.

What's included:
- Borescope
- Micro SD card 32 GB
- IPS display
- User manual
- Carrying case
The borescope featuring a 360 degree articulating lens by Kentfaith is one that doesn't require prior knowledge or experience with a borescope, has a variety of features and settings , but which has standard options compared to others.
The borescope basically comes in two pieces - the borescope and the IPS screen which is easily mounted onto the device by threading into the top.
Inside the borescope is a Micro SD card of 32 GB that has been included and is ready to use, only requiring to be formatted which can be done while in the device itself.
The length of the cable with the camera on the end is about 1 meter and both the cable and camera are able to be used in wet conditions although the quality of photos or videos can and likely will be somewhat impacted.
The device's handle is made of plastic and has a joystick in the middle which can be controlled easily by the same hand holding the device with one's thumb. I found using my thumb to manipulate the camera to be comfortable and simple although the movement of the joystick and the corresponding movement of the camera do take some time to get acquainted with and used to.
The design of the scope also has the button to take pictures or photos on the front like a trigger which again is very easily reached with the hand holding the scope. Overall, this borescope is designed quite well and I found using it for lengthy periods not to cause my hand to become too tired.
Using the device is pretty simple. In my video, I provide a basic guide and walkthrough of the functions and features that this borescope has including three resolutions 1080p, 720p and 480p as well as toggling between taking pictures vs taking photos.
As a completely flexible borescope the one thing I would point out is that this device's cable will basically follow the laws of gravity and so if the goal is to manipulate the cable in upwards directions it may be a better option to go with the semi-rigid option. For example, I tried to slide this into my ceiling and found it more challenging to do so vs just having the camera look up. So if getting the cable more involved in the process is a necessity this flexible design may not be the best options. On the other hand, I did drop an instrument into the engine bay of my car and approaching the engine bay from above using this flexible version made locating that object pretty simple.
The key to this borescope is really the camera. The borescope will only be as good as the camera it is equipped with. In this case, the camera has three resolutions as noted above and at 1808p it works well especially in dry conditions. Furthermore, the camera is surrounded by 6 LEDs and its possible to change the brightness of those LEDs or turn them off altogether. Depending on your use case scenario, the LEDs do play a very important role especially in circumstances where this device is used to look inside walls or other dark places. Of course since this is a rechargeable device, the brighter the LEDs are and the higher the resolution, the more quickly the battery will be depleted needing to be recharged. I have to admit I have used this for a few hours over a few tasks and have not needed to recharge it yet.
As I noted earlier, the only real learning curve will come in trying to move the camera in directions needed using the joystick. It feels a little awkward but with time, becomes easier.
While this device generally works quite well and the use of the attached IPS screen is much better than using a phone for example, there are a couple of small issues in my opinion. First, to delete images, I couldnt find any obvious ways other than to remove images after having taken out the micro SD card and placing it into a PC. Put another way, there is no 'onboard' mechanism for deleting images.
Second, to begin taking a video actually requires more than just a long press of the trigger button. After long pressing the trigger it is then required to actually confirm entering into video mode which is a little less convenient but certainly not a deal breaker.
Third, to transfer images, requires taking them from the Micro SD card rather than just being able to use the USB cable and plugging it into a PC. The latter would be so much easier but that's not the way this system works.
Lastly, resolution is good at 1080p but it would be much better at higher resolutions especially in some circumstances where a liquid is involved and visibility is reduced.
Overall, this borescope with a 360 degree articulating camera works well. It lacks a little here and there, as I have just noted, but its quite simple to be up and running right out of the box, and one doesn't need to feel intimidated by the device. Controls are simple, and easily reached with the well designed handle. Although I am not big on the plastic handle its durable enough.
Finally there is a nice (albeit plastic again) carrying case to place the device into for protection and to transport it from one place to another and this carrying case is slim and easy to manage making portability a non-issue.
There are some better borescopes out there for certain, so value will really depend on how you imagine using this device. It is easy to understand the functions and the handle is designed well and the inclusion of an IPS screen as part of the device are appreciated.
There are a couple of other points to mention regarding zoom capabilities etc but these are noted in my video.
Overall, this is not a bad device at all especially for circumstances where this type of device could be handy around the house.
Cheers,
