I love this filter! Been using it for street photography after dark, it really makes light sources pop in a unique way that can really enhance your photos. It's wonderful for portraits, softening light and skin. For the price it is well worth it!

Creates bloom effect around specular, bright highlights to add that dreamy, warm look to your pictures making them soft and pleasant to look at. If you're curious to try something new in your photography journey, this might be the best diffusion filter to get started with as it provides high quality for low cost.
This filter is sturdy, fits tightly onto lens and doesn't affect quality of your pictures thanks to its coatings.
It has a diffusion strength of 1 which which might not be good choice for everyday use, as it does decrease a little bit of light and contrast which you may have to compensate for, but if you're interested in creating that special noticeable dreamy effect on certain occasions - go for it.
Overall it's amazing filter, as most of K&F Concept brand lineup for on-budget shooters.

shoot a lot of 35mm film using old vintage film cameras and lenses. I love the softness and character that you get out of these old lenses and film stocks. I find modern cameras and lenses to be so sharp and perfect that they almost look boring. I decided to try this filter after trying others like it, and I’m extremely happy with the results. It provides a nice softness to the photos that almost gives them a painting sort of look. Some might find 1/4 to be too much, so the 1/8 might be a better choice. I personally like the extra softness, and I would recommend this filter to anyone. It is a solid and high quality product.

I am using the 72mm on my Sony RX10 IV. My preliminary test revealed that the filter diffuses very bright direct light very evenly while not drastically changing color or contrast. Indirect light is more moderately altered, with a not very noticeable softening of detail, but an evenly dispersed halo effect. On auto settings, shutter speed dropped to an insignificant degree with the filter on. This filter came well-packaged in a padded and sturdy plastic case, and included three microfiber cleaning cloths - a nice touch! The filter ring is well-made and installs easily on the camera lens. K&F Concept generally makes good quality camera accessories without breaking the bank, and this filter is no exception.

Well packaged and came with cleaning cloths that came in handy. This filter adds just a little bloom to the image as shown in the pictures I added of my old Nikon F in low light. You can see the one with the filter has slightly more bloom and cine softness than the other. This is subtle and doesn't take the image too far in my opinion.
I used this on a few portrait sessions and while I normally like to keep the sharpness dialed up this does really well when you have a subject that can benefit from a little softer skin.
I enjoyed using it and I'll be adding it to my kit.

I was hesitant at first on getting this filter because for some reason all of the picture reviews of this filter of the actual filter itself, not the effect that it creates?? But it’s amazing! It does a great job of providing a soft glow to light sources. But retains excellent clarity on non lit sources. So backlit subjects will get a beautiful soft glow but their features won’t get completely blown out as long as you properly adjust your exposure. No notable vignetting or significant loss in image quality. (Unless you’re pixel peeping. An amazing filter for the value.

This filter is great for anyone who wants that softer and smoother look to their photos/videos. It screws onto the end of your lens like you'd expect and holds well. I went out and took some sample photos with and without this filter on my Sony a6700 (see attached photos). As you can see, the Mist filter gives a nice softness to the image, and helps combat that "digital look" that a lot of modern DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras have. Notice the soft bloom that the filter creates around the clouds, and notice how it's missing in the image with no filter. There's almost a dreamlike aura compared to the image without the filter.
Overall, if you're looking to take smoother, less "digital looking" images, this is a great buy.

This Black Diffusion 1 filter gives a fog-like glow to a subject that can be overpowering. Used correctly with very controlled lighting, it gives a romantic, dreamy, soft focus that reminds me of French Postcards. Think beautiful girl in a field of golden wheat, backlight by the sun, front lit with a warm reflector. The filter also lends a wonderful vintage softness of portrait photographers from 80 years ago who used lenses specially designed to soften a portrait.
The lens is embedded in a solid metal frame with knurled edges that easily fit my Sony 24-105 lens. I find the 1/2 filter and below a better choice for altering an image in a more subtle way.

Amazing filter, 10/10 recommend. Specially if you’re into night shots and enjoy a nice cinematic look. Love how it makes the lights look. Easy to install / use and in my opinion it’s at an amazing price.
