Thin, light and no interference with af. Protects my expensive lens from careless mistakes and improves picture sharpness on hazy days. Mounted on a telephoto zoom, so can't say if there's any vignette problems on wide angle or not. Threads are aluminum, be aware of that if you don't like aluminum threads on filters.

While UV filters can improve your picture in some situations, most people buy them to protect their lens from splashes and dust without changing the image. This one seems good for that, it fits nicely on my sony 24-70 zoom lens and doesn't interfere with using either the lens hood or the original lens cap.
There is hardly any change in the amount of light that gets through to the camera and the UV filter can help to reduce atmospheric haze in long scenic shots and make the image a bit sharper.
This filter also has a water repellant coating, I haven't had to test this yet but if it works like the one on my glasses you won't have to wipe it if it gets wet. Any water that doesn't fall off immediately can be blown off with a hand blower so you don't have to touch the filter with a cloth.

Ik heb de 67 mm op mijn Sony a7iii op mijn 85 mm Sony-lens. Het is zo duidelijk dat je niet eens weet dat het aan staat. De beeldkwaliteit is exact hetzelfde zonder enige problemen. Het gaat op in de camera, maar voorkomt dat uw dure lens beschadigd raakt. Om hem in elkaar te zetten, draai je hem vele malen in een cirkel om hem vast te zetten. Er komen geen aanwijzingen bij, maar het spreekt voor zich. Meer informatie op hun website. Er is ook een garantieperiode van 1 jaar wanneer u de lens registreert vanaf de aankoopdatum. Deze kunnen veel goedkoper worden vervangen dan dat u uw dure lens opnieuw moet kopen!

You never really know if something like a little filter can actually provide protection for your lens. My bag holding my camera fell. I checked it out and the filter was shattered but the lens seemed perfectly okay. Don’t know if it prevented any damage to the lens but I’m very happy I had it on! Whew!

I have many filters as a photographer and this one works as expected. The coatings seem pretty nice and the UV Lens is almost a necessity for filters being on hand. Did not notice any glare or scratches in the coatings and images came out Awesome!. Great solid filter.

I got this for a new lens to effectively protect it from dirt and damage. Threads are good with no problems getting the filter off and on; appears to be same or better quality as other Hoya or Sigma UV filters I own.

Je wilt nooit zonder bescherming zitten, dus het is een goed idee om altijd een extra UV-filter bij de hand te hebben! Ik heb een paar andere K&F inclusief UV en polarisator en heb geen probleem om aan te bevelen. Ik zag geen anomalieën, fakkels of vervorming. Ik zou graag messing monteren, maar voor het geld zijn deze perfect.

UV filters don't do very much from an optical standpoint, but I sometimes use one to add a layer of protection for my camera lens.
If I am in a windy or dusty environment, I pop on a UV filter. I also like to use one when it is rainy to keep water droplets off my lens. It is much easier to remove and clean a not-to-expensive filter than it is to clean an expensive camera lens. I try to carry UV filters of appropriate diameters for the lenses I use.
Mechanical and optical quality are good as far as I can discern. The filter threads smoothly onto my Nikon lens.
This vendor offers wide variety of filters. Pricing seems very reasonable
