I already have quite a few filters at home, including the K&F Concept Nano-X ND Filter 77mm Variable Neutral Density Filter ND2-32 for €75, which I use on my wide-angle lens, for example, in bright sunshine (for wide-aperture shots) and for long exposures, and it's really good.

Now I had the chance to test the variable ND filter from K&F's PRO series, a filter for a whopping €280. Of course, if you're going to work with filters, you should use high-quality glass on a high-quality lens, but a filter for just under €280 isn't cheap, and this investment should be carefully considered. What I can definitely say is that the filter is at the top not only in terms of price, but also in terms of performance and workmanship.

It starts with the presentation (packaging) of this filter: a neatly crafted case with a magnetic lid, suede appliqués, a soft, lint-free interior lining, and a side-mounted strap that allows the filter to be pulled upwards.
The filter itself is extremely well-made, and the two brass tabs make it easy to operate.
It offers a very pleasant resistance when adjusting, not too heavy, not too light.
The glass shows no defects, and the threads are also cut absolutely cleanly.
Regarding the image quality/performance, I can only say: TOP!
There are no color aberrations/color casts, or anything else negative. This means I can work with my lens at full aperture in bright sunshine, and if I like, I can also use the filter to create long exposures with a slightly closed aperture.
As I said, the image quality is as good as if I hadn't had a filter on the lens at all, and that's how it should be.
The images I uploaded (undemanding test shots) were taken at full aperture and against the sun.

My conclusion about this filter:
Very high-quality workmanship/flawless image quality/excellent feel. Very high price.
Everyone has to decide for themselves whether such an investment is worth considering.

I always thought that an inexpensive filter set was sufficient. After this filter, my opinion completely changed. The quality of the filter is outstanding. I really didn't think something like this was possible. You can probably tell – I'm totally blown away by this filter... It's top-notch quality and workmanship. The dial is made of metal, and this alone shows how well the workmanship is.

You also have to keep in mind that filters affect photo quality. This isn't the case with the K&F filter! The highlight here is that I don't need dozens of different interchangeable filters, but can always adjust directly to the respective situation. Personally, I'm still missing the larger increments up to 10 stops. However, I'm so enthusiastic about this filter that I'm going to check whether this filter is also available in increments of 6-10 stops. I would definitely buy it, even though I've previously worked with inexpensive filters around €50. Quality has its price, and in this case, it certainly holds true! But you really get a lot for the price.

The filter sits well on the lens, and I'm not worried about losing it. It's very easy to use. The neutral density filter comes in a nice carrying case, so it's very well protected.
Very expensive - but convincing!!!

Anyone who enjoys photography knows what an ND filter is for. Since my focus is landscape photography, I can't avoid working with them. I ordered this one from K&F for my full-frame camera.

I was simply tired of always filling my backpack with ND filters of varying strengths. That's when the Nano-X Pro came in handy. To use it with multiple lenses, I ordered the 77mm size. I then work with step-up rings so I can also use it with smaller lenses.

Let's just say: The optical quality and the image quality blew me away! The workmanship is excellent and very well done. The lens thread is cut very cleanly.
The filter is adjustable from ND 2 to ND 32. The larger steps (f-stops) are marked on the ring and are easy to read. It can only be turned within the range of 1-5. It can't go any lower or higher. This way, you always know what your setting is thanks to the stop.

The 77 mm ring weighs 93 grams on my kitchen scale. Everything is solid and feels very good. Adjustment is smooth with slight resistance. That's how it should be.

The optical quality is absolutely flawless, and even in difficult lighting conditions, the filter performs excellently. I couldn't detect any chromatic aberration or color gradients to green, magenta, or anywhere else, even when pixel peeping. Even with backlit foliage or fir trees and dew reflections, the filter's quality is unsurpassed. Finally, an ND filter that does justice to my limited lenses and full-frame sensor. The frame thickness with the thread is only 9 mm. Without the thread, it's 0.63 mm. This means that the filter can also be used on wider-angle lenses without vignetting.

Thanks to the two screwed brass handles and the knurling of the ring, the filter can be adjusted very precisely.

Conclusion:
K&F Concept has delivered a top-notch filter here. What's the point of investing thousands in lenses if bad filters make your work difficult or lead to poor results? A clear 5 stars+ from me. I hope this helps with your purchasing decision. The price is also worth it, as you save at least four ND filters.
Extremely good. Extremely good. Extremely good. Extremely good. Extremely good.

Neutral density filters are indispensable in photography. They're used all the time, especially in landscape photography. You know those great pictures with flowing water that looks so "fluffy" and soft – for something like that, you need a neutral density filter.

A neutral density filter, or "ND filter" (neutral density filter), absorbs the light, allowing you to use longer exposures. This long exposure and the movement of the water make it look so beautiful.
By shooting with a neutral density filter, the incoming light is darkened, making it easier to photograph in very bright environments.
Conversely, if you use a neutral density filter in bright environments, you can shoot with a wider aperture or longer exposure times.
By shooting with a longer exposure time, you can achieve beautiful effects.
Normally, images are overexposed if you choose a particularly long exposure time.
With a neutral density filter, you can prevent this and photograph with a long exposure time despite plenty of light.
This results in blurred movements and blurred lines.
This allows you to depict bodies of water, clouds, and fast-moving objects in a particularly creative way.

The K&F Concept Nano-X PRO Series ND1000 filter impresses with its outstanding quality; it comes in a stylish case with a magnetic closure and a cleaning cloth.
I took five pictures with it, which I numbered. The difference is clearly visible.
The filter is worth the money; it screws on easily, and even my lens protector still fits.
This filter makes you want more and gets full marks from me!
Really great! Really great! Really great! Really great! Really great! Really great! Really great! Really great!

Just what I was looking for, they don't pixelate or lower the image quality.

K&F filters are usually unbeatable in terms of value for money, and this filter is no different. I use it on a Sony 18-105 f/4 and it’s never let me down.
