The K&F 1/4 diffusion filter works wonderful for bringing up the shadows, dark to black areas. It enhances most of your photo's without the need for post processing your images. I have not noticed any haloing around the edges either which is a huge plus.

Ordered this for my Canon R10 and it works beautifully. I'm not very experienced with mist filters but I've been enjoying taking it around with me outside and playing around with the bloom that it creates. Being a 1/4 filter it has a pretty substantial effect that's easily noticed. I definitely prefer the visual result from the black mist vs regular mist filters. More dramatic results can be obtained.

This filter is to reduce the amount of ambient light and glare that the camera will pick up and makes them more subtle. It is not a large change that would remove color, just softens the image a bit. Very nicely made with anti glare on the exposed side. Glass looks very pure with no noticeable inclusions. Quality filter. Always Honest Reviews.

This my second filter from K&F Concept. I just started using filters and this one does the job. There is a slight noticeable softness that I think in the right setting, can make a difference. There's no unwanted color or effects. It does exactly what it's supposed to.

I like to take lake pictures and I also get a lot of glare from the water and the sun it's all around me and this filter helps solve that problem because it can get extremely bright i've also used this filter outside in car shows and motorcycle demonstrations where it has shiny paint which makes it glare out in the sun and can can get extremely bright like a point light And this filter will help stop that. thank you

I have a Nikon DSLR kit for beginners as well as a more advanced kit and each came with two lenses. I am still learning how to use the advanced camera, but I feel fairly proficient with the beginner's model and I'm interesting in trying out new accessories. I needed protective lens filters for all of the lenses, and I have been slowly building up a collection of filters with various effects and learning what each of them can do. I like to take portraits so I was intrigued by the softening effects possible with this 1/4 black diffusion mist filter. I ordered the 55 mm version to use on a 70 -300 mm Nikkor zoom lens and it fits perfectly. It is very thin and light and I can use it with other filters as I gain a little more experience. So far, I have only used it by itself to take pictures of our dogs and some interesting plants and flowers. It really does blur background lights and helps to reduce contrast on the subject and refine the image. The glass and coatings are of excellent quality and clarity and the current price of of $49.99 for this lens filter seems very reasonable. It comes with a cap as well as a simple case for storage.

I'm always looking to add tools to my camera bag to improve my in-camera photography without the need for excessive post-production. It's always better to get it right in-camera! This is far from being high tech, just a nice black diffusion filter. Works well for the job it was designed for.

If you are working around a lot of UV light and the blue tones in your images are just killing your eyes during the editing process, use this filter on your lens and it will clean up 90 percent of that for you. I have had this now for several months and it kills the need for extra blue tone work in post production about as good as any other filter out there.
