I have used this endoscope camera both in the hard-to-reach engine compartment of my vehicle and to inspect our sewer line and I find the image quality satisfactory in view of the fairly reasonable price.
If the clog in the drain pipe can be located (and cleared) without hiring a costly plumber, it's already a worthwhile investment.
Only the recording and storage function did not work and it turned out that the memory card was defective.
The seller responded obligingly and generously replaced the purchase price with a higher-quality memory card.
The durability of the camera will have to be seen, but will hardly be used due to a lack of demand.
In any case, the neighbors were already delighted that they could fall back on my "endoscope camera service" in an emergency. :-)

The endoscope is a super solution for the DIY sector. In the professional field you might get the replacement battery for this price. Here you get a function in the form of a useful view, for example into the engine compartment or into very crooked spaces, which no smartphone camera can match. This saves a lot of time because major dismantling work can be avoided. The picture is significantly better than expected and both photos and films can be made so that you get a good overview of the condition or function of the objects that are simply to be examined, repaired or adjusted. The lighting is excellent. With strong reflections, it is very good that the light can be dimmed. I fix the endoscope with a collet so that steady pictures can be taken.

The endoscope camera has a 4.3" LCD screen with good image quality. My test product has an 8.5 mm camera with 8 LEDs for illumination. In addition, a 1.55 m semi-rigid cable with a 180 degree rotatable head is installed. The head rotation is done via the adjusting wheel on the handle. In the camera head is still a temperature sensor installed for inspection on warm car engines. (Protection against injuries) It can be at home poorly accessible places control, electrical, sewage, etc.. The endoscope can be connected via WLAN and the images created can be sent to computers or tablets for better evaluation. The camera has a 1.5x zoom and the camera image on the screen can be rotated 180 degrees by pressing a button. A lithium-ion battery with 3000 mAh allows an operating time of about 3 1/2 hours. A 32 GB TF card is inserted to store the images. The endoscope supports a TF card up to 64 GB. On the handle there is still the possibility to dim the light and take a photo of the live image. Compared to my previous inspection cameras, the Frant camera has an extremely bright and sharp image. Saving the images on the attached card is done at the push of a button without fiddling. The brightness of the sides and front camera is dimmable. The focus of up to 10 cm is good, with which larger caverns can also be inspected. The side camera also has a positive effect here. It is no longer necessary to put on a mirror, the magnet is too weak for me. Overall a very good buy, especially considering the price and the good functionality.

My first endoscope and I'm totally happy. I think it's a great device with many possible uses for the hobby area. As a hobby mechanic on cars, I can now find lost small parts in the built-in engine compartment without jacking up the vehicle and removing the annoying underpanels. I can finally take a first look at my engines without removing the cylinder head. The camera quality is sufficient to even recognize the cross-hatch and larger grooves in the cylinder wall. The valve seat and the valves of a 1.3 liter engine are also easy to inspect.
