52mm Magnetic Variable ND2-ND32 (1-5 Stop) Lens Filters NO X Spot, Nano-Xcel Series (Compatible with 55mm magnetic cap)
SKU: KF01.1847
I absolutely love this K&F Concept 82mm Magnetic Variable ND Filter (ND2-ND32, 1-5 stops) with the included basic ring kit. The magnetic system is a game-changer - snap the adapter ring onto your lens once (fits my Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 perfectly at 82mm), and then attaching/removing the filter takes literally one second. No more fumbling with threads in the field.
The variable range is spot-on: smooth adjustment from subtle ND2 for brighter conditions up to ND32 for longer exposures or wide-open apertures in daylight. No noticeable X-crossing even at the darker end, and the 28 multi-layer Nano-X coatings handle flare, reflections, and color neutrality beautifully - images stay sharp and true-to-life. Build quality feels premium (slim profile, durable frame), and it's been great for landscapes, portraits, and video where I need quick ND control without swapping filters.
One small nitpick: the filter's outer frame is a bit wider than a standard 82mm lens due to the magnetic design, so my regular 82mm lens cap doesn't fit over it securely. You'll need a larger cap - many users go with 86mm magnetic or pinch caps for these K&F magnetic series filters to cover the whole thing properly. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting for anyone who wants full protection when stored.
Overall, this is one of the best variable NDs I've used in this price range - reliable, versatile, and way more convenient than traditional screw-ons. Highly recommend for anyone with 82mm lenses looking to upgrade to magnetic quick-swap. 5 stars easy.

One of the main things I look for in variable ND filters is the quality of the glass. In the past, I’ve used ND filters and been very disappointed; some caused a loss of detail and made the pictures look blurry.
Another big issue is the dark "X" cross on images, but I did not experience any of these problems with this filter. I also want to point out a cool feature: this filter is magnetic. It comes with a ring that attaches to the lens, allowing you to easily mount the glass part of the filter without having to screw it on—it just snaps into place. This is an awesome feature if you shoot indoors and outdoors a lot, as it makes mounting and unmounting very easy. I highly recommend this product; it’s a great value for the money.

Excellent build quality, it feels sturdy and the adjustment is smooth. I used mine with a Sigma 18-50 F1.8 with 55-82 ring adapter. It put two 2 pics to show the different between both extremes. Images are clear with no distortion applied from the filter.

I'm not a big user of VNDs, mainly because they're somewhat expensive, I don't like the hassle, and they can affect image quality. Luckily, this mitigates a good bit of that.
The filter feels high end and the presentation is excellent. Even the box is cool, even though that doesn't matter. What does matter is the plastic case it comes in - sleek, protective, easy to open and get the filter out of. A filter this expensive needs to come with a case and it does, which is great.
The fit and finish of the filter is also excellent. The magnetic hold is just the right amount to never fall off but is easy to get on and off, and best of all, it locks into place rotationally.
The edges are nicely knurled. It's well dampened but easy to turn. Glass arrived perfectly clear, and appears to give no color cast. Maybe a minor amount at full "power" but that's to be expected, it's functionally nearly perfect for the price.
Overall very happy. The large 82mm means it can use step up rings to fit on basically any lens.

In photography, a common problem is that when the lighting is simply too bright, your creative options become severely limited because you’re forced to use very high shutter speeds, and/or crank the f-stop up to the highest (smallest) setting. These situations make narrow depth of field or longer exposures extremely difficult ,if not impossible.
I have several K&F CONCEPT filters in my bag, and I’ve been very happy with every one of them. They’re typically made very well using high-quality glass and materials, and they always perform exactly as you would expect.
This is my first magnetic filter, and I can’t believe I haven’t switched to these sooner. I’ve always been worried that the filter might easily fall off while I’m in the field, but clearly that that is not the case. The magnet is surprisingly strong, making it quite unlikely that it will fall off, or get knocked off easily.
For me, the convenience of quickly popping on a filter without having to screw it onto your lens has been a game changer indeed. I keep the magnetic ring attached to my lens while the actual filter is kept handy and protected in my pocket. When needed, I simply grab it, pop it on, and I’m ready to shoot instantly.
If you’ve never used a neutral density filter, then you really missing out. When the conditions are too bright, just pop it on and the adjusted as desired to allow you to choose whatever exposure settings you desire.
This filter is well-made, and the quality is excellent. There is no streaking are any other derogation to the image… It simply reduces the amount of light entering the lens which sets the stage for capturing breathtaking images.
If you’re getting the feeling that, I really love this filter, it’s because I do. I have used it in all kinds of conditions, and even at night to shoot a full rising moon and each time the results have been impressive.

If you’re an amateur (or professional) photographer (or videographer), you have ran across many instances in bright outdoor environments that you need to tone down the brightness coming into your lens and reduce the glare. Filters on your lens come into play but the hassle of picking out the correct tint of the ND filter and then having to screw it on to the end of your lens takes time. That’s where this K&F Concept 82mm Magnetic Variable ND lens comes into play. For one, it’s a magnetic mount. You get the screw on magnetic mounting ring that attaches to your 82mm lens. Once on, you adjustable ND filter is a quick second on or off making the installation and removal ultra fast. As far as ND filters go, this adjustable one takes the need to swap out varying filter intensity with multiple different filters and with the quick twist of the variable filter you get 1-5 stops of filter intensity. This makes those bright scenes adjustable to perfect image brightness and readjusting if your subject falls into shadows or the clouds just rolled in. This is a must have for those serious about outdoor photography and videography.
K&F are a well known company that specializes in camera components and they have a huge selection of filters to choose from. The price point is, for this quality, exactly at what you would expect to pay for this type of filter. You can find less expensive alternatives, but the K&F quality and performance is worth every penny spent. If 82mm isn’t your lens size, check out the multitude of other filter sizes they have for almost all lens sizes.

I work as a wedding videographer, and honestly, this filter has made my life so much easier. When you are filming a wedding, you are constantly running from bright sunlight outside to dark reception halls inside. With my old filters, I had to stand there and unscrew them every single time the light changed, which took forever and sometimes made me miss the shot.
The best thing about this kit is the magnetic connection. You just screw the adapter ring on your lens once, and then the actual glass filter just snaps right on and off with a magnet. It is super fast. Now, when I walk indoors, I can just pop the filter off in one second without messing around with threads. It saves me so much time and stress during the busy parts of the day.
The picture quality is really good, too. I haven't seen any of those weird dark "X" marks across the video that some cheap variable filters give you. The glass is clear and the magnet feels strong enough that I’m not worried about it falling off while I’m moving around. If you shoot video and need to change your settings fast, I 100% recommend getting this magnetic set.

This filter has awesome Construction the two-piece magnetic ring makes it very convenient to take off and put back on this filter. The magnetic ring has a texture that makes it easy to grip and it has hard stops starting at ND 2 going up to ND 32 there's also indicator markers that shows in the form of dots I cannot discern any serious color shifts but when turned to maximum Darkness there is a bit of vignetting which is normal for most circular polarizers but still the quality of this filter is pristine

This K&F CONCEPT 82mm Magnetic Variable ND Filter is great quality! The variable ND range (ND2–ND32 / 1–5 stops) makes adjusting incoming light super easy without having to constantly change camera settings — and the magnetic attachment is incredibly smooth to use. I just pop it on and twist to dial in the right exposure, which speeds up shooting a lot.
The filter feels extremely durable and solidly built, and it does an excellent job protecting my lens from scratches and dust. I also like how the Nano-X multi-layer coatings help reduce flare and keep images crisp.
Overall, very happy with the performance — a reliable, high-quality ND filter that’s perfect for outdoor shooting and situations where light changes fast.
