The picture quality is absolutely great. The unit is easy to install and remove if necessary. The solar panel keeps the camera charged even on overcast days. I placed mine in the back yard so I can keep an eye on the swimming pool. The location has lots of shade an I was concerned, but no problem. I am including a picture of my pool and back yard to demonstrate the picture quality. The wifi is also very strong as I was able to connect to a Apple Airport on the other side of my house. I strongly recommend the unit to monitor a wide area or for just seeing who is at the door.

Not sure how I feel about it just yet. I love the night vision on it, very clear, the day vision as well. My gripe is I walked passed it zig zagging and it didn’t alarm right away and received notification like 45 seconds after the fact. Also it’s installed far from the router so it was hard for the camera to pick up the WiFi signal, those antennas are just for looks, they don’t help pick up WiFi. Had to reset twice and reinstall to get it to pick up WiFi. Solar works great. Will come back after a few months to update review.

This Security Camera ZS-GX1S PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) is an upgrade to my previous ZS-GQ3 which is a still Camera. I got them pictured on my 2nd attached photo. I upgraded to A PTZ cam so I can have a better left-right, up-down view. I bought a same brand security cam for the purpose of using the same "App". It is better to have 1 app open on both security cam which is very convenient. You can capture SD or HD videos. 3rd photo attached is a sample of indoor capture. 4th photo was taken outside, it captures clear video. 5th photo attached is view being tilted (adjusted). This is the feature i'm looking for. 6th and 7th photo where the zoom capture. I also like the 2way audio which is kinda louder than my previous Camera. The night Vision for me is good. The only thing is, it would be better if the camera has a lens zoom (not digital). But over all it was a great security cam for me.
