It is cute, small light, but I would classify more as a toy projector. Great for kids, or if you just want to travel with it and not worry about damaging it because its less expensive. You do have to mod/add a bunch of stuff to it to get it to do anything, otherwise you kind of just have a weird night light.PICTUREWhen you attach an external battery via USB mini, it gets very dim for power consumption and the edges of the frame go out of focus very easily. Plug into the wall when possible, or if you take it camping, plug it into a generator for better picture quality. It has "screen door" effect no matter how close or far away the projector is from the wall, so don't expect anything too immersive.SOUNDIf you use the built in speaker it's all treble and no bass (not to mention fighting the fan sound) so you'll find yourself increasing and lowering the volume constantly. Just plug a decent speaker into it via 3.5 cable.MOUNTING I will say the lightness in weight allows me to mount it anywhere, but again, I had to use camera equipment to mount it, clamp it, or stand it anywhere. Could be used for a lot of creative things if you have a few of them for ambience at a retail space or event.DURABILITYThe focus knob is VERY sensitive, it can fall out of focus the moment you take your finger off of it, I imagine after using it a dozen or so times it will only become more loose and harder to stay in focus.MEDIA PLAYERThere are no wifi capabilities or apps to play Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, etc built into the actual projector (which is understandable for the price) so BYO Amazon Firestick, or Roku Stick to the party, at least they can power from the USB in the back.VALUEIt's pretty good for $60, but considering that you need:- $ external speaker- $ external power- $ Roku/Fire Stick- $ A way to mount itYou might want to consider a projector that does at least 2 - 3 of the above for you and simply pay more for it.I also don't understand why Amazon asks about "SHEERNESS" but uh... no, it's not translucent? Does this help anyone???

Protector image was good. The sound however was not loud.Decide to exchange for a more powerful one.

its cute, my daughter was so excited to use it. but we get no audio out of it when connecting a fire tv to the hdmi port. nothing from speakers and nothing from the 3.5mm adapter. so bummed. will have to return it as its useless without audioedit: following some tips on youtube, was able to get audio out of the projector. I was using a fire tv and was changing dolby surround setting to stereo in the movie setting, but found that I needed to make the change in the main settings of the fire tv. audio is no acceptable.so overall, pic and audio is acceptable for the size and price of the projector
