It connects easily to my Canon T7i without any issues. The quality of the sound recording is good for a beginner such as me and for simple content creation projects. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent microphone on a low budget.

The on and off button was reversed- the light wouldn't come on until it was set to off, batter insert instructions were also reversed.

Bought for my 11 year old. She figured it out easily even thought directions are in Chinese.

It's obvious this is a low budget mic. the sound reduction sucks, the audio is really low and has to be boosted in post-editing, and it feels really cheap and plastic....however, I will say that if you know mics you'll probably be able to get decent audio out of it. the price is right for what you get in the long run.

Hesitated for a long time and made lots of comparisons. Eventually decided to buy this one as its reasonable prices and I needed one that works well and not overly expensive - happy to say that it did not disappoint me at all!I started to make a video blog and really need a video microphone. After using it for the past few days, I found it very light to carry around. And very flexible on what I can use it with. The shock absorber works very well to keep any unwanted sound. It does a great job on recording what is in front of you and block out sounds behind you. I am quite satisfied with it.If you are starting to experiment with better audio, I strongly recommend you to start off with this product.

This uses traditional batteries so its easy to replace and cheap to buy, where as others use smaller unconventional batteries that is expensive to replace. Took this item to Arizona and filed and it minimized the wind noise for me. Definitely extremely happy with this purchase.

Not quite what I expected, not great rejection and the handling noise is terrible. Any vibration of the camera is transferred directly into the mic. It’s s tiny electret condenser, and has similar sound quality to my canon t5i’s built in mic. My Sony cameras and canon 80d have better sounding built in mics.
