I bought this so that I did need my laptop open to call into video meetings. The video quality is almost too good. I haven’t tested the audio quality as I have sounds coming and going through my headphones. Contrary to many reviews before mine, the lens cover does come off completely BUT it also flip ups up and down so that you don’t have to keep track of it by removing completely to access lens (see photo). Overall just what I was looking for.

A reasonably priced quality webcam that was extremely easy to install and configure. Good picture and sound quality.

Plugged it in and in a few seconds it was ready to go.Image is clear.Noise canceling mic is good.I wasn't expecting much out of a $40 camera, but this works great for me.

I've bought several of these because they are so easy to set up and use. I bought one for my work desktop, then three more for other people at work, then two for my mother and in-laws to facilitate family Zooms. It was important to not need to go indoors to help my elderly relatives set up the camera/mic for family Zooms. It's truly plug-and-play and we were able to orient them to Zoom remotely. Easy set and great quality video and sound for everyone using it.
