These are considerably cheaper than the tiffen black pro mist filters, are much thinner, and seem to have pretty much exactly the same performance when shot side by side

SO NICE! It's most noticeable in brighter/sunnier conditions but this just adds a very nice soft look to photos that cuts the editing process down and makes a very peaceful looking photo! Definitely best to look at a shoot beforehand when deciding whether or not to use it just because it wouldn't be suitable for everyone's style but if you're looking for something to add a very nice and soft glow to the light in your photo then this is honestly perfect!

bought this filter to test it out vs the Tiffen brand pro mist and it did not disappoint. Theres a video on YouTube that compares these two filters side by side and the K&F is definitely a competitor. Price is fair which I liked, it came in a nice container as well. In my opinion dont overpay for the Tiffen.

The “mist” diffusion filter does what it advertises. It’s a softer image with “blooming” highlights especially if backlit. I double stack my filter with a prime lens effect dream filter for an extra dreamy look. I totally recommend this.

have only started buying K&F filters in the last 3 years, but there is absolutely nothing negative to say about them. I love the filters from K&F. This type of specialty filter is a bit pricey so I usually buy the size that fits my largest lens. That jacks the price up even more, but I use adapters to enable using them on smaller lenses. I don't mind paying for quality, but I am frugal none the less!

What a great filter. Use it on my Sony a7ii and rubber band it around the camera of my iPhone 13 pro.

I’ve been using the K&F Concept Black Mist 1/4 filter on my Fuji setup lately, and it’s rarely leaving my lens now. It does a great job of taking that "digital edge" off the photos—it softens the highlights and gives a subtle glow to light sources without making everything look blurry.
It’s especially awesome for portraits and street photography at night. The skin tones look smoother, and the overall vibe is just way more cinematic. The build quality is solid too; the frame is slim, so I don’t get any vignetting even on my wider lenses.
If you want that dreamy, film-like aesthetic straight out of the camera, this filter is a no-brainer for the price!
