Overall the camera works very well with a very good image quality. My only complaints are the on board microphone is really bad and there is only one microphone that works with the camera. Additionally when recording it splits the videos into 7 to 8 minute segments making editing video a little more challenging to keep track of what video is what. Overall it is a solid action cam that I have enjoyed using.

Amazing times we live in where you can get a true 4K action cam for under $100. It's also compatible with GoPro accessories though it already comes with a generous set of it's own accessories. The image stabilization is very good though not up to GoPro 9 standards and you'll experience some cropping at 4K but the Akaso is one fifth the price of a GoPro 9. The iPhone app is so-so and on occasion it froze up on me but closing and restarting it brings it back up. Low light performance isn't great but that's true of most action cams with a small sensor meant mostly for daylight activity. You'll have to spend a lot more to get better quality so all in all it's a great value for the price.

I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. He was very impressed with the accessories and the picture quality. He can't stop raving about it. I guess the real test will be when the weather gets warmer and he take out his motorcycle.

I bought this camera to film dirt bike riding. It has performed very well for this purpose. The image stabilization works well, the battery life is decent, and many of those who have watched my videos have said that the picture quality is comparable to their more expensive GoPros. This is the third one that I've purchased. I did have an issue with the first on after nearly a year, the sound from the camera speaker stopped working. But that may have been due to the fact that I dropped the camera. So other than that the camera have performed flawlessly.

I wanted an action camera and my wife got me this one for Christmas. I was not familiar with the brand but have been pleasantly surprised. It is a great camera that comes with a host of useful accessories. The camera was easy to set up and works great.

I bought this mainly for the feature of the changeable battery and the fact it came with two of them. The touch screen is nice and I think i'm really going to love the remote as i tend to mount action cams in locations that are a bit inaccessible when the time comes to start/stop video.If Akaso offered 170deg camera with a 10hr run time, i'd buy that no matter the size.

OK, I was skeptical when I saw the low price, but the image stabilization on this little thing is remarkable. I have tried several cameras for my rotorcraft flying videos, but none below $300 have been able to handle the dual vibration from my propeller and rotors at two different frequencies. I strapped this camera directly to the aircraft frame and the video is so smooth...no fancy shock absorber mounts necessary. And the wrist-mounted remote is exactly what I need to save precious memory and battery filming my lengthy ground operations after strapping into the cockpit. Will be buying a second camera soon!
