I bought this as my first action camera so I don't want to spend too much money on GoPro (just yet). After many reviews, this model seems to have feature parity with GoPro9 (with front screen). Took it out for several mountain bike ride with rough downhill - the image stabilization seems to work well. The picture quality was also good. But the wind noise is a bit loud (even w/ WN reduction on). Other than that, this AP came with tons of accessory so you don't need to buy anything (besides the SD card) to play with it.Summary:Good:- Tons of accessory- Battery life- Stabilization- Picture qualityNeed improvement:-Wind noise level

It is a great product quality price related, I recommend it specially for big kids, the case it’s seals very very good, better than go pro

Updated: after some test and use I realized that this is not what I thought. No real 4k, really bad experience. Dark images. The noice is worse when I try to record 4K. the 4k is dark and constant freezing.

The camera is really well build, excellent quality material. It came with a lot of accesories and 2 batteries, the only little complain is that batterry last me around 2.5 hours. Another thing to improve is that it does not have upside down function to film upside-down in your chest strap.

This camera has great features and is easy to navigate. Solid construction and the fact that it is water resistant without the plastic case is a real plus for just playing around at the beach or pool$

Great Action cam! Even with the waterproof case you still get Audio. I was really worried about that but it pick up the Audio just fine. With a 128 gb micro SD card you can easily get 3+ hours of footage.

Update: After reviewing the images I had to return the camera. Images were grainy and fritz occasionally. I’ll be getting a GoPro instead.I’ve been offered some free accessories for writing this review.This seems like a great alternative to the GoPro. The image stabilization is good the picture was a good reflection of reality and best of the camera is waterproof without the housing.I was somewhat disappointed with the included accessories but it wasn’t unexpected. You can charge the battery in the camera but I’ll likely want to buy a charger, a handle grip and a tripod.I did run into a few issues that had me concerned.First, watch your battery. When the battery is low it freezes the camera so you can’t even power it down.Second. EIS requires a lot more light. If you turn it on your screen could go exceptionally dark but you can adjust both the iso and the EV to make it brighter.

I just returned a much more expensive action cam and was looking for an inexpensive alternative. Came across the V40 and pulled the trigger. Got it today and I can tell you it's a very nice camera that has all the features I need.

This is an awesome action camera. Iv had a few high end cams and a few affordable cams and this is my favorite hands down. The picture quality is great especially compared with cams double in price. Good buy.
