Sure, Sony has more features. But this is reliable canon engineering. Sturdy, easy menus, the great sensor from the 5DIV.

I was team Canon for a long time before I switched to team Sony and low and behold I switched back to Canon. In the process, I sold my canon lenses and had to start from scratch. I opted for this 50mm because of the price and since canon switched to a better build quality, it's a whole lot better and to spend the extra money on the 1.4 or 1.2 doesn't make sense to me. Highly recommend this. Focus ring is stiff but smooth. The motor also gives off a little noise but hardly noticeable.

I have mainly used the Canon wireless system for my off-camera flash needs but I've heard great things about the Godox system so I decided to give this a try and ordered this controller.In addition to having Canon cameras and flashes, I also have a Sony mirrorless and for that, I have two Godox flashes for Sony - a V860IIS and a TT350S. For Canon, I only have a Flashpoint Zoom Mini flash (made by Godox - equivalent to TT350C) for use with my Canon RP camera. The beauty of this system is that you can use this controller (or a Godox flash) to control not any Godox and Flashpoint flashes - like the Sony flashes I have and get Canon ETTL out of them.It will also control all Godox studio strobes (Other strobes require a Godox receiver). You can even control the modeling lights for these probes with the XPro.I received the X-Pro C a couple days ago. The unit is smaller than expected and ergonomically very well designed. It is angled to be read without having to tilt up the camera to read like the Canon controller. It also displays all 5 groups at a glance. The menu is very similar to the Canon menu.So...without having to read the manual, I had it connecting to 2 Godox flashes made for Sony and the Flashpoint Mini made for Canon as slaves within a couple of minutes and had all 3 flashes operating, giving me perfect ETTL exposure on my Canon RP. I couldn't be happier.At one (long) touch of a button, the ETTL values can be converted to manual values and the flashes switched to manual modes automatically. This is pretty slick.In short, I'm very pleased with the unit and I like the Godox system as I plan to get more serious by getting studio strobes and the Godox system makes it easy and economical to do so, without the need to get receivers as triggers for the strobes (like the Canon, Pocket Wizards or other systems).

Have been using it for almost a month for my canon 5d mark ii, it does fit perfectly and the screw threads seem to be of good quality. Good work from the manufacturer for this adapter

The canon adapter has been unavailable for a while, so I thought I'd try this one out so I could actually use my new R5. So far it works flawlessly!

I am giving this 5 stars even though I returned it. The reason was because I didn't understand how to apply with the need of a lens adapter. After mailing it back I went to U Tube to see if there was any help and there it was. I definitely recommend a short video for newbies like me. I have a Canon Power Shot SX60 HS. This is a quality company with quality material and my return was promptly addressed.
