Filters okay - holder poor quality.
Cheap, Filters are okay. Filter holder works - but I will buy a better made holder. Has a shallow hood - The Filters can be used with appropriate Cokin, etc holders.

Excellent quality for very reasonable price
The ICE filters are excellent for long exposures. Very little if any color cast at a very reasonable price. These are not coated with advanced materials to prevent flares or such, which is why they are affordable, but I recommend these for people who want to try out ND photography. Get a 10 stop and a 6 stop and you have a solution for everything from bright sunlight (10+6), overcast daylight (10) and twilight (6).

No color cast and amazing value
Picture speaks a thousand words. The ICE series of filters (ND and Graduated) are exceptional in value. The graduated ND is pure optical glass and doesn't degrade the quality of the picture. Being a 150mm*100mm dimension, it gives enough room to feather the exposure from 3 stop to clear.Highly recommended.

Budget 10 stop for long exposures
I have used this on my RX10m2 for long exposures. While it's not a super high quality expensive ND filter, this works perfectly for my needs. The cost is perfect and I have several of the ICE ND filters with great performance. If photography is your career, you may be more critical, if you do it as entertainment and fun, this will work as expected.

Initial thoughts: good filter at great price compa
I needed to replace a Schneider neutral grad filter I've used for years, after it developed cracks (and was getting scratched up). I priced a new one: $355....ouch. I saw the ICE brand here for nearly $300. less and decided to try it (I don't like the resin Lee filters as they seem to scratch too easily, I much prefer glass). I can't see any difference in quality of my test photos. The Schneider is considerable thicker glass (it is 3mm or maybe even 4mm vs. stated 2mm thickness of the ICE filter). So it is possible the ICE will break easier if mis-handled. Either one fits well in my Lee square/rectangular filter holder (you can adjust the Lee holder for either thickness, or use both at the same time thanks to the holder design). Both filters seem to have about the same "soft edge" graduation (I rarely use "hard edge" filters.) The ICE says it is "3-stop" while the Schneider is designated "ND .9". Confusing but I have read .9 is the same as 3-stop density. They do appear to have the same density at the darkest area. One bonus with the ICE filter is that it comes in plastic clamshell case (with foam inserts). The Schneider (and Lee) filters arrive in a velcro cloth pouch. While good for preventing scratches the pouches don't protect the filter from getting bent/broken inside. I think the Schneider cracked in my backpack because of that (my bad). The ICE holder is rigid and should avoid that during storage/carrying. However the plastic hinges on the case seem like they could wear out and separate in time. I will report again if I encounter any issues with that or the filter itself. Last thing, when viewed in direct sun you can see the layering used in production of the ICE filter to make the gradation. It does not appear perfectly "smooth" or evenly graduated like the Schneider does. Possibly they use a different (cheaper?) production process. Regardless, I can see absolutely no difference in comparison photos taken with either filter and price wins out here.

This cheap filter opens up awesome photo possibili
This photo taken early afternoon at Corona del Mar State Beach. Thanks to this filter, I could make a 30 second exposure providing a smoothing, painting like effect to the ocean waves. As far as my old eyes can see there is hardly any color shift. Photo has not been altered and Samy's Camera made a 12x18 print from it which looked fantastic. Taken by my Nikon D750 full frame dslr using a 70-300 Nikkor lens mounted on a Manfrotto tripod. Will be buying more filters from ICE to pursue different ocean wave effects.

My dad loves this, he can’t wait to get onto the ice for ice fishing and record his amazing adventures with it.
