This works great when light falls into the lens. This filter gives you that blue streak flare you've seen on countless TVs shows and movies. It works well but you do need light to come into the lens to create the effect. Other than that it is that look. It can be super effective for adding interest to your frame. I enjoy using this and I am grateful to have it. If that's the look you are after this will give it to you. K&F products are very well made and also a great value.
