Very decent filter, but disappointing case
The filter itself is great. Proper density, neutral, sharp, very high quality.
Unfortunately the liner in the case seems to have been folded and creased during packing at the factory, so risks touching the glass. This case is disappointing compared to the case that came with their variable ND32-ND512 filter. This case leaves the filter loose and rattling unless the foam sheet is present, but the filter sits on rubbers that mean it can't sit concentric and it will gradually degrade the foam sheet, even if it hadn't been messed up at the manufacturer. It shouldn't be so hard to make a case that just works... This filter will be stored in a Hoya tub
