bought this tripod to use for flatlay photography. The tripod is not safe or sturdy with a Canon 6D and 24-70m lens. You MUST add a counter weight the other end for this style of photography. I ended up unscrewing the weight hook at the bottom of the tripod and screwing it into the top horizontal end (see image) to counter weight the camera. The only issue with moving the weight hook to the horizontal bar is that you cant fold it away without having to unscrew it all again. I am happy i can make my style of photography work with this, but for the price, i dont think its anything special! The horizontal bar is too short. Also instructions are not great!
