As good as more expensive name brand
I compared the Occer 12x25 Compact Binoculars to Nikon 8x23 6.3. The Nikon runs about $100. I found the Occer to perform as well as the Nikon. Overall finish and build isn't on par with Nikon, but for the price it's terrific.

Great Flash.
I bought this for less than $50 for my Canon DSLR. It is a great flash for what it is worth. I am not a technical person and I'm still learning the craft of flash photography. In my opinion this a great substitute for budget conscious photographer. But if you have the money, buying branded once like Canon and Nikon is highly recommended.

great entry level dslr!
took forever to buy my first dslr. after looking at 3 models the nikon d60, rebel xsi, and canon 40d. even bought the xsi first then the nikon d60 (which I returned right after a day of trying it). over-all the rebel xsi for me is the best camera that fits my budget. amazon even price adjusted 3x till it came down to $699! what a deal if you're thinking of buying ur first digital dslr i would strongly suggest this camera why pay the same amount for the new rebel xs? when the xsi has a lot more to offer. the feature that i like most about it are the dedicated buttons for ISO, metering, AF and alot more aside from the live-view. I would like the 40d since its ISO goes down to 3200. but it was a bit bulkier and heavier for me being a woman :). one thing i can say about it for me its simply PERFECT :).

Works very well.
Works well. Very comparable to my freewell and polar pro VND filters. I use it on my Nikon film cameras so I don’t have to stop down my aperture. Keep in mind when using this with an SLR or DSLR, it will definitely make the viewfinder darker so open up the filter while focusing then stop it down before you take your photo. I have not experienced any cross polarization but I only stop it down 2-4 stops at the most.

SB-800 Speedlight
This is the 'must have' for all Nikon DSLR owners - pro's and ameteurs. A fantastic piece of kit that give absolutely spot on results. I bought a second one so I can use them as multi-flash. The trick is to use good quality batteries with the unit so don't even bother with cheap 'bargain' types or they will be flat in no time. Comes with a decent soft case. Expensive but can't beat the quality or ease of use. 100% recommended.

Great for interiors
I have a Nikon dslr and this has been a game-changer. I love that I can use auto settings and get much better pictures with brighter interiors. I point it toward the ceiling and it gets brighter indoor shots and even great views through windows. Just a great flash for a low price. Perfect for interior photos. Plus, it was quick to set up and use out of the box.

Excellent piece of work
I wanted a fairly high quality DSLR that wouldn't clean out my bank account. I checked out two similarly priced cameras -- the Canon and a Nikon. Both have high name regonition, and I feel like the Nikon is probably a good camera; but, based on the Amazon reviews and the price, I chose the Canon - my first DSLR. I am delighted with the choice. It seems very high quality and well constructed, with a substantial set of useful features. I've had it over a month, have taken hundreds of shots, spent a substantial amount of time with the manuals, and still haven't dived into all of the functions. What I have used works superbly! The menus and controls are solid (once you learn the conventions - which is a fairly simple task) and access to the functions seems easy. I guess it would't hurt to mention that it takes excellent pictures. You get a choice of the RAW format or several qualities of JPEG or both at the same time. Several reviews mentioned it was a good starter camera for those moving from other sorts of cameras to a DSLR, but I feel certain it will take me quite some time to grow out of this one.

Best entry level DSLR
This is the best entry level DSLR, I had ever seen. Very good picture quality. Even in the low light, pictures were really good with very low noise up to 3200 ISO. However, ISO range is in steps (Doesn't matter for beginners though). I'm lovin it and I think is much better than its NIKON counterparts.

Great BUY, Canon t3i
A great but powerful manual speedlight. Love the diffuser and bounce cards built in. I have a few older dslr cameras, a Canon t3i, Nikon d3300, and Olympus. I've been using this on my Canon. I am new to external flashes and love this one, I use it in manual mode. I've tried to use this on my Nikon d3300 but cannot get the camera settings and flash to work correctly together. The flash itself is large, the head rotates, a bounce card and diffisure built jn, it uses 4 AA batteries and locks into the hot shoe. Be sure your hot shoe has the pin as illustrated here by the seller.
