Nice adapter with good autofocus...we can use all canon DSLR lenses..

I do a tremendous amount of photography and am an old Leica user. It takes a lot to get me excited. When this digicam came down in price- I bought it. I have been using m43 and have a great deal invested in that size. Because of the weight- I have rarely used my Canon DSLR. I also do street photography so I need a fast camera. The EOS M is NOT a fast camera. The imaging, however, is spectacular. Notwithstanding the latest articles in magazines and on line, APS C is much better than m43.I use it with an optical v/f I also bought on Amazon. I shoot black and white and although the camera's color rendition is excellent, the black and white is so spectacular that I went specifically to this site to crow about it. I am waiting now with bated breath until a new EOS M is released with an integral EVF. If you get used to the focus lag... shoot with "continuous" your results, like mine will be worth the trouble. I love this mount. It is not compatible with the Nikon FTZ adapter unless you move it from the body to the adapter or buy another mount just for the adapter. I’ve hike a couple mountains and bustled through crowds without fail using this mount.

I already of the excellent 055 tripod & bought this Befree specifically for travel with my M43 mirrorless kit. When the legs are fully extended, the tripod is a little flimsy, but good enough for a small light camera such as an M43. The centre column needs to be extended to get a comfortable working height. I wouldn't put a full frame camera on it, but it is light & can easily be carried in one hand which as such fulfils my requirements for some travel night time shots.

Part 1 - Minolta MD to Sony NEX adapterTechnically, it slightly overshoots infinity but the issue is easily corrected by dialing back the focus ring just a tad --- Not exact but clearly better than not-at-all.Although very light due to extensive aluminum usage, the build quality and fit-and-finish of the adapter is superb. Connections on the lens and camera mount sides are tight and precise --- absolutely, zero slop. The top of the lens release button is flattened making the lens removal process very easy and comfortable.Other notes:- There are no electrical connections so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself- When mounting the lens, turn the adapter clockwise till you hear a "click"- Tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera-----------------------Part 2 - Nikon Ai to Sony NEX adapterEdit: Based on my positive experience with the Minolta MD adapter, I also purchased the Nikon Ai adapter later.As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon Ai version focuses beyond infinity a tiny bit. Fortunately, the same solution applies - dial back the focus ring and the horizon will become crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable and the finish is smooth and clean of burrs or machine marks. Connections on both sides are taut and precise with zero play.Additional notes for Nikon Ai adapter:- No electrical connections present so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens.- Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, mounting the lens for Nikon adapter requires a counter-clockwise turn until you hear the "click" of the locking mechanism- Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera

Autofocus is bad, but overall the camera is one of the best on the market.

After returning first unit due to inability to autofocus consistently (adapter fit was slightly loose), tried replacement unit and was very pleased that performance compares favorably with both Canon and Viltrox models. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend testing unit as soon as possible after receipt.

The biggest takeaways, picture quality and the autofocus. Autofocus allows you to hold up something to the camera and it will adjust focus and clearly be seen. Like text or small objects. I also like how the cam allows me to choose the POV. I really have only 90º of clean room. Outside of that see wires, coat hangers, fans, yada yada. This will come in useful for that and those annoying Microsoft Teams meetings that just puts you out there in all your messy glory to a room full of colleagues without first consulting with you, if you like a fake background first. So thanks to this camera, I look like a half decent human being now. I just wish the mic was a little better.
