Smooth operation with a large mirrorless and a 70-200 2.8.
Holds the load well, at least with 5 kg I did not try heavier.

I received this tripod head about a year ago and it all of a sudden got stuck and became unusable. I reached out to the K&F team and was contacted very shortly after and were very quick to resolve the issue by sending over a replacement. Although my experience with the item itself wasn't great I really appreciated them doing their best to make it right. Hoping this replacement is better!

If you buy cheaply, you buy more often... After two cases of cheap ball heads, I have now ordered two of these ball heads. And these do exactly what you would expect: adjust the camera position, tighten the screw (without changing the position) and everything is then bomb-tight.
Highly recommended!

Very good product, especially considering that I lost my previous head and it looked great on the tripod I have

It depends on what goal you set, because of the weight it doesn't hold up enough, but in general it's correct.

I removed the old tripod head from my Cullmann stand and installed the ball head. This allowed me to save 400g of weight without sacrificing stability (with a system camera and normal lenses).
I deliberately used a ball head with a “short” pen and do not see any restrictions in handling.
Since I use the “thin” Peak Design stand plates, the mounting screw is not easy to handle. You can unscrew the clamping plate and replace it with a click quick-release plate.
So I have an optimal solution — for myself.
