Wanted to like it. Installation is easy. Software setup went as described... until it came to actually connecting the camera to my wifi network. It would go through all the pairing steps then the final connection would time out. Mind you, I have a wifi repeater 16 feet from the doorway with NO obstructions in a straight line from the repeater to the doorbell, save the external wall. The signal at the doorway is strong, the network speed more than adequate, yet this doorbell will not pair, even though everything else I have has paired without problems. Tried Gennec and Smart Life apps - same outcome. This unit seems to be hit or miss when it comes to wifi connectivity, so I suspect the internal wifi sender/receiver module is cheap with poor quality control. You may get a good unit or you may not. It's a crapshoot; GAMBLERS you can get your fix right here! Back it goes

Buy this doorbell. The camera is clear. Motion detection and 2 way audio work great. Easy install. No charging needed. Bought a different brand and returned it.

Installed 10/15/2020 works like it should, not hard to install. Like the idea not having to pay a monthly fee.

There are few things I wanna point out.You need to change your wifi password to make it less "strong" there is character limit and special characters are not allowed when you enter password for wifi during setup on the app. That's really frustrating because I had to go back and change the password on 11+ Existing devices. Secondly the wifi password becomes weak as you cannot use special characters and have character limit.After using it for a month I have observed that the camera goes offline for no apparent reason for significant amount of time.

This product works great! Wish I would have ordered it sooner! Great price. surveillance! Husband had no problems installing took little to no time and the picture quality is very clear! Highly recommend!
