My sensor was crazy dirty. Foolishly I went on a trip to Iceland and only upon return did I realize how dirty it was. Spending lots of time in Lightroom these days :)My bad. Lesson learned. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Check your sensor before any major trip.These swabs are very easy to use. First I blowed off the dust with my rocket blower. Then I dry swabbed. Then I used two drops and wet swabbed. I tested again, but that did not get all the dust. One more dry swab and now it’s perfectly clear.I wished I hadn’t been so afraid to do this myself for so long. I’m pretty sure I’ve spent over $100 paying someone else to do this for me over the years. It’s easy and not risky at all.
