A good variable ND filter.
I needed a variable neutral density filter for an upcoming solar eclipse, and this one did the job. By rotating the two filter elements against each other, the filter goes from just visible to nearly black. And this flexibility gave me the option to capture the eclipse easily with little guesswork.
